Like Clockwork... (2 Viewers)

There were a few Monongahela releases in 2006. Not sure if you included those but great info. I feel like a candidate for that show "Hoarders" after seeing some of those numbers.

The series numbers are all inclusive. I didn't breakdown the 2006 releases for the monthly, as it was somewhat light being essentially the first year.

WOW ! That's frightening - Very happy I'm not a ''completist''. While I like everything from JJD, that bottom number makes me feel better about picking and choosing only the sets I really like - And TRYING to stay away from those great WWI planes.

These numbers make me more firm in my belief that John did start cutting back about mid 2009...the total dollar listings actually dropped in 2010...regardless of how many pieces he issued...

Very impressive (and scary) figures. I tried to keep up, to a point. Threw in the towel on BOM while trying to collect and complete POA. Have now halted POA in order to do the Jacobites and WW1 aircraft. Can't even get involved in the others, although had I the money and space, I would be in on the Carillon and Sudan. I just love all the JJD stuff. -- Al

my calculation.....somewhere between $8000.00 to $9000.00...that I have spent on JJ series not including shipping ...taxes and customs......but will not stop collecting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D

Rich...I can't tell you what a good job you have done on maintaining the JJD and K&C databases...I constantly refer to your site when I want a picture or retired status...I know it's a lot of work to maintain it...but you did a magnificent job that is a well used resource by me and I'm sure many others...

It's interesting to see what and how you all buy. It certainly add up but we're collecting more than investing. I just finished BOS, finishing out BOM and starting another British defeat... Fort Carillon (BOFC or BOFT?). All my figures go to dioramas and I try to maintain the ratio of combatants to the actual battle. It seems as though, I end up buying quarterly.
