Great pics and a great set would love to see one in the flesh/polystone/what ever its made of.

Hi Robin,

I like what you have done to the second set by removing the "extra" figures, was this fairly easy as I've been thinking of doing something similar.

Jeff :salute::

No beyond me, the front guardsman not bad though. I prised him off, the rider has a peg on the side of his leg which fits into the stomach of the figure trying to clamber aboard. Felt sick after removing though seeing the issues I had created already, knowing this is an expensive piece. Handed it over to my model maker, could not face it. He filed down the peg and painted the red stripe on the leg and filled the hole in the stomach and painted. The Zulu big problem as hand melts into arm of rider. Hand removed from Zulu and filed off arm of rider. Riders arm repainted and building new hand for Zulu still. Thanks for noticing Jeff. Needed that 2nd limber on the battle field and it had to look different. Robin.

Agree with Jeff the coverted figure adds a nice touch and and very well done and I know you can never have enough Zulus reqiring you need for the Zulu. Love what you did i mounting my favorite 24th Foot. He's been on wagons roof tops, and mealie bags. He become the most versitle figure in the series. Outstanding job with the photos Robin................Joe:salute:::salute:::salute:::salute:::salute:::salute::

Very well done! And a brave lad to customize your figs. :salute:: Chris

Truly amazing to see two of these sets together. I agree that you are a very brave man to have one worked on, but your bravery has been rewarded I would say. Great photos, thanks for sharing them.
Best,
Josh
