Little Legion (1 Viewer)

Hi Guys,

That is a great site! I will very likely be getting some figures from the Sudan series and the Corps of Guides from the Indian Army too very very nice looking figures

All the best

Dave

Brad you may want to check with Paul at the Toy Soldier Shoppe after you've check LL site to see what he has in stock . I listed both his phone number and E-mail address along with LL site earlier in post number 8. With the exchange rate, shipping cost and additional fees for handling and credit card fees you can keep a few $$$$ to be applied towards you next KC purchase...........The Lt.

Joe,

Thanks. I called today and talked to Paul's daughter and I'm buying a set of Marching Highlanders, http://217.68.23.140/image.php?imag...23343/img/23343_729670.jpg?499&sCaption=-NaN-

So, I've taken the plunge into my first glossy non-K&C set other than WW II. Can't wait.

Hi Brad,

Congratulations on your purchase! The Marching Highlanders are a strikingly beautiful set. I believe you will enjoy the set for a long time to come.

Taking the plunge into glossy non-K&C figures/sets can open all sorts of new toy soldier worlds for you. I am very pleased that you have been open to expanding your range of interests. However, please remember that just because you found some glossy figures that interest and excite you does not mean you must abandon K&C. Hopefully, you will now enjoy the best of both the matte and glossy worlds. I think you are about to begin a new and exciting journey. Sit back, smile, and enjoy the trip!

Again, congratulations for acquiring a beautiful set!

Warmest personal regards,

Pat

Brad glad I was of some help and enjoy your Highlanders looking forward to your posting of the set.....Joe

Hi Brad
congrats , I,d also like to hear what you think and how they compare to your K and C glossys .
I had 2 sets of marching king and country highlanders but
because they where larger than my existing glossys [and the chances
of me adding more sets where slim too none] I let them go.
Regards Rob

I've got a few Napoleonics K & C glossies and I'm about to trade Louis for a couple more so we'll see. It's possible I may have to display them separately.

I think they should be a fairly goodmatch size wise ,
the little legion figures seem to be a little taller than
the rest of my collection.

The Bradster has been corrupted:eek: Next it will be Frontline or Hocker!
Hey vamp I noticed that also, I might have to add a coat of gloss over your little brad helper.:p What do you think??? I just don,t know how the gloss would react with his fur wig???:p

Hey, you never know, I like those K & C glossy Napoleonics. Hard to come by though and I have so few so I've added a couple of BG sets courtesy of Shannon and Ana and thought the Little Legion might go nicely. We'll see!

I just talked to Paul Herman, who is very, very nice, and the order will be on its way tomorrow. I could be headed down another slippery, treachorous path! Make that a double :eek:
