The Polish lancers and British Line infantry are Tradition and the Horse Grenadiers are Little Legion. The Zulu war stuff is Trophy and Little Legion.

A professional photographer I am not, but wanted to share the extent of my Zulu War collection. These are mostly LL with a few Trophy's mixed in. More 24th, colonial troops, and of course Zulus to come. BTW, are those 2 modelzone Britains 24th foot figures still available and if so, how and where?

Happy Holidays!:)

Thanks for posting those images. You have a great collection.
Ask Joe aka The Lt or Joachim aka plasmapulse about the modelzone exclusive figures.

Damian

hey Lt.
I just started collecting zulu wars and I was just wondering if you have a dealer online that is good. I have been trying to find one but I have not been successful. I have to drive an hour and a half to a dealer that has them. Any help would be great.
Thanks. Mitch

try this;- appolloarts.piczo.com they have a good range of 24th and Zulu`s either as white metal kits or as finished figures

Mr

Lt.
Of course we still love the pictures, especially the Frontier Light Horse. Have you noticed that in all the three-figure sets, the guy loading always has a percussion and not a Martini? Even with the dismounted 90th, DMR and AMR? It disturbs me to no end. Mike

I'm sure Mike that you'll agree that this is the Martini-Henry he should be armed with.....The Lt.

Lt.,

I just got one the other day in infantry version dated 1876 stamped WD! cosmoline smells like dead fish when sits for 100 yrs!. Mike

I get my LL figures from Mike Norris himself in London. I find his figures direct off his website are MUCH less than the same stuff on Ebay, plus they are New and never displayed. Methinks they are also painted per order, which makes me feel all special! I just think they are top-notch. Mike

So Mike you added one of these to your collection bayonets included by any chance. Bet you were like a little kid opening the package when it arrived despite it's smell at the time. Nice addition to you collection.

Spitfrnd I get my LL figures from Paul Herrmann who owns the Toy Soldier Shoppe in WI who the exclusives provider of The Little Legion in the USA and a Gem to deal with. You can also place special orders with Paul for figures or sets.....The Lt.

Here's a Photo of a twin to Mike's new arrival in his Land of The Zulus
