The Mortier de 58 mm type 2 was the standard French medium mortar of World War 1. It was nicknamed Crapoullot or "Little Toad" from it's appearance and could fire several variations of spigot lunched bombs. As with many French weapon systems, this was also used by the U.S. army deployed on the western front in 1917 and 1918.
Our new set is manned by two Doughboys and comes complete with launcher, bomb and transport boxes. The trench section will be sold at a seperate scenic accessory.

Now that's something you don't often see. Congrats on a unique and very cool addition. Chris

Ken, I agree with Mike and Chris, congrats, very cool and not something you see very often. I am also sure it will be popular with the WW1 collectors. Chris
