Hi fellows, Here is the latest dio that David (TM Terrain) has been working on for me, still have some work to do but overall coming along very nicely, once he finishes with some paint here and there plus the terrain areas, barb wire for fences, and his magic touch he puts on the small details, I'll be very excited to see it completed with the First Legion troops in place in the dio it self this Saturday for the London show!! (just wish I could be there in person) I'll post some more pics as David sends me some updates...Sammy

Sammy it looks like it's going to be a winner. The shed warehouse looks cool and the roof is weathered beautifully .Can't wait to see it finished with soldiers . Simmo.

Excellent scene Sammy, really nice. David is very talented isn't he, have you seen the Trostle farm he built for Bob in the ACW diaries thread, another superb creation of his.

Enjoy your dio mate!

Rob

Thanks for the kind words fellows, I'm really excited to see the finished product, and Rob you are 100% correct, David can do anything when it comes to Dioramas, the time and effort he puts into all the small detail amazes me always, as well as the larger parts of the dio, also one of the nicest mates you could want to meet or talk to, as such...David was having serious back issues a few weeks ago and didn't know if he would have my dio ready for the London show, and I left it up to him, and as you can see he came through for me once again!!.... so Rob I'll be waiting for your pics on Saturday of my new baby!:)...Sammy

That is a great looking dio Sammy. You should be right proud of this aquisition. I know you have done this a thousand times already, but imagine what it will look like with your FL collection displayed on it!

Hi All, here is the finished dio that David completed today!!!! I may be biased a little but I think he did a fabulous job on it!!! once again I can't thank David enough for working with me over the last 5-6 months figuring out details/layouts/payment etc.. now on to the London show tommorow!! David will have a First Legion dealer in London supplying the German units for the set-up, so it will really come to life when the troops are in place. Also in the near future this dio will be published in TOY SOLDIER COLLECTOR MAGAZINE with a how it was created by David and also a history story line for what is happening in the dio itself, so I also must give a big thanks to Frank (Fmethorst) who wrote the entire story line for the magazine article, and it really gives a neat story to what is happening with this unit, we titled the dio... "the Last Days of the Leaping Horseman" hopefully the article/write up will be in the fall issue...Sammy

Hi all, here are a few pics that I borrowed from UK BOD from the London show thread, hope he doesn't mind me lifting them:) I really like that the barn door slides open or I can leave it shut, plus the ditch in front came out really good...Sammy
