Gentlemen, I must say, apart from the absolute pleasure of meeting all the UK treefroggers in person, my initial impression of the show was it was smaller and sparser than I anticipated, about the same size as the Valley Forge/King of Prussia show. Then I bumped into a Flemish client of Clive's, we got to talking Heco, I realized he had supplied me (with the kind assistance of Clive) with 3 of my favorite Heco sets, and after discussing our mutual appreciation of Heco, he offered me another wonderful Heco item from his collection at a very reasonable price and I quickly accepted. I bit later, after making a purchase I asked the vendor if he was familiar with CJB Models. His response, "oh, yes, I know Chris Burkett, he retired when he turned 82, but I also always admired his work, I have about a dozen pieces." After a brief and pleasant negotiation, I agreed to a short detour from one of the Symposium events this week to pick up the 5CJB Models I had purchased, all of which were on my most wanted list! It turned out to be one of my favorite and most successful shows ever!:smile2:
