Hi Jeff,
Thanks for posting the pictures !
It helps me to remember all the nice figures I've seen yesterday.
It was my first London show and certainly won't be the last ! So much things to see.
And of course the opportunity to meet you and other nice people.
Michel

Raymond, there was a whole stand selling all sorts of Trophy.........the elephant battery was £585.00

Jeff

A Very Good Morning Jeff,

Thanks very much for posting the images of Trophy sets so quickly.

You have got me all excited.

I would have grabbed a couple of these sets if I had been there.

Was the stand you referred to set up by MKL Models ?

I must get to one of the London shows at the Royal National in 2010.

Cheers, Raymond.

:)

There where alot of stands selling older types of soldiers and stuff.

This ironclad was about three and a half foot long!

Last three showing an assortment of very reasonable painted plastics.

It's Richard Rambridge's stall. MKL tends to just bring Britains to its stall.
Richard has very little Zulu war stock and MKL's stock of AZW at the shop is quite low now. Although Richard did have some miscellaneous sets I had never seem before.

Here are a few more shots of our stand. I was able to take them on the Friday- all fresh out of the box and it allowed me to get a few different angles on the dios. The Stalingrad seems to have gone down so well that I thought a few more shots wouldn't hurt. more to follow

Finally, a few of John Jenkins displays. My favourite is still the snowshoe display but I also did a new one this time to display the wagons and limber. Very simple but effective!:

As for the show- another great day. Lots of regular faces and a few new ones. Mike and the guys at K and C do a great job organizing it and it seems to go from strength to strength. I am already counting down to December!!

Thanks for sharing the pics, Jeff! Looks like it was a great show. Was there only finished figures, or was there anyone selling old figures or kits? Did you pick up anything yourself?

The Nile River gunboat looks nice, but you know something? I'd put the boats our fellow Forum members have built up against those, any day.

Prost!
Brad

Brad, There was loads of stands selling old figures, kits of model soldiers and I picked up some FIW castings from Tradition for a certain forum member, who shall remain nameless
