London (June 27th) Show Photos (2 Viewers)

It's Richard Rambridge's stall. MKL tends to just bring Britains to its stall.
Richard has very little Zulu war stock and MKL's stock of AZW at the shop is quite low now. Although Richard did have some miscellaneous sets I had never seem before.

Jeff,

Thanks very much for the info on RR.

You have done a fantastic job posting all these excellent images.

My heart will give way if I keep looking at the lady with the cleavage.

Cheers, Raymond.

:)

Jeff:

Another fine report with great shots. Not easy and yet you've acheived it with quality and speed.

Thank you very much,

Carlos

Jeff once again thank you for taking us across the pond to the show via your photos and once again thanks for sharing your visit....The Lt.

Brad, There was loads of stands selling old figures, kits of model soldiers and I picked up some FIW castings from Tradition for a certain forum member, who shall remain nameless

Jeff

Congratulations on a good catch! So we'll see another SBS soon?

I just saw your latest posts, including the Tommy Atkins table (post 54). Do you happen to know who the British cavalry represent? I don't recall seeing those figures on their website, but if they're new, I think I'm going to invest in some-British SYW cavalry are relatively underrepresented-Rose, perhaps, from John Eden, or Imrie-Risley conversions.

Does the show include any exhibition of figures painted by collectors, that is, not by the manufacturers?

A wonderful show report, prosit!

No I don't, sorry.

It's not really that sort of show? Just trade stands and individuals selling.

Hi Brad,
The cavalry shown on the Tommy Atkins table are of the 10th (Cobham's) Dragoons c. 1746. They were present at Culloden and may be listed under that section by TA. Hope this helps.

Thanks much, Trooper! I took at look over on TA's website but didn't find them in the catalog. But I sent an email off to Mr. Turner, so we'll see what the response is.

Prost!

Brad, I'm not sure but they may have been a new release??

Jeff

A followup--

Duh! Tommy Atkins are now part of Fusilier Miniatures, aren't they? Those figures could come from some other part of the combined catalogs that comprise Fusilier. I'm curious now to see what the response will be.

Prost!

Jeff,

Thank you for posting pictures, for all of those who could not attend.

Jeff,
Another big "Thank You" from another TF'er who couldn't be there! I love all the new stuff that is coming out, especially the gunboats...gives me some ideas.
What would happen if both guns were fired at the same time on the German G-Boat?
Mike

Tommy atkins and Fusilier are owned by our family but are treated as seperate businesses.
The dragoons are not in a catalogue or on the web site yet as we have only just produced them.
A large portion of the latest TA figures can be found on the fuilier website as it easier to try and keep one site up to date rather than both.

Hope this helps, if you require any other information plaese fell free to contact us.
