Ok my fellow Toy Soldier collecting, alcohol consuming, barmaid bothering , brothers in arms.....sign up sign up....because as William Shakespeare once famously said ' Yee Olde Toy Soldier show tis but four weeks hence'!

So which of you Pirates will be in attendance, sign here guys and lets give the Police and Hotel cleaners fair warning.

So I'll start the list;

ME!!

Rob

Rob:

I am almost always at the London show but find it difficult to get away from the Crown Military Miniatures tables to carouse with you lot, as I am usually manning the battery alone. I expect to have help at this show, so I am hoping to at least swing by the pub and say hello to TFers from across the pond.

Nicolas,

Well it would be really good if you get chance to sneak away and join us in the bar , but if you don't we will at least swing by your tables and check out your excellent figures. See you on the day!

Cheers

Rob

No change I'm sorry to say baby due anytime now and end of June ^&grin

Oi Captain Rob, I'll be there, cutlass in one hand and badly depleted wallet in the other. I may even bring a camera as well.

Just needs to dig me treasure from the garden and I'll be ready for that Gentlemen Mr Gande to swap his toys with me cash. It certainly helps that he chooses what I buy instead of me.

It will be rather grand to see my fellow connoisseurs of collecting in olde London town and maybe have time to down a few spicy rums and mead as well.

Gentlemen - to London!!!!

Andy

uksubs - best wishes on the forthcoming birth:smile2:

I have the same problem manning the Yeomanry Miniatures stand but I am happy to chat with any who stop by.

Communique to General Rob

Intend to extricate myself from Gettysburg where I am currently campaigning to remove Yankee cavalry off of McPherson's Ridge.

General Lee has ordered me to the National Hotel-Russell Square to recruit a whole batch of Confederate Infantry to assist in his Pennsylvania invasion and has temporarily seconded me to your brigade to execute my mission as such.

Once said recruits have been assembled I am sure I will have time to quaff some liquid refreshment before returning to Lee's campaign.

Bob the UKReb.

UKSubs-Let me also wish you the very best with the forthcoming birth of your bairn. Although he/she will be as big a drain on your wallet as TS he/she I'm sure will be just as much fun.

Bob, I'm thinking of sending you to the end of the line to take Little round Top for me, but not until we've had a few VAT'S/G&T's my friend:wink2:

We parade at 12.30 sharp Bob, look forward to a drink and a chin wag mate{bravo}}

Rob.

PS Good luck with the forthcoming happy event Neil!

Heh? Have I missed something? Have we had an inverse parallel universe change? Alan, who drank Oli Reed under the table, whilst performing the Can-Can in a borrowed sequinned number, and Jeff who is currently assisting Branston as a pickling agent advisor and who currently holds the world record for the longest chandelier swing?

Better go and check up on the meaning of 'mature' and 'sober', cause they obviously don't mean what I thought they meant.

I will be in attendance to ensure an element of klass and sofistikashun precides.

Remember team the above post is from the same guy who bravely fought a rear guard action with the remaining two members of the Brit Brigade last March. Extricating them from the fire fight in the National bar. Guiding them back to a vittling station-filling them with K-ration fish and chips and getting them both on the last train out of London.

Simon deserves a badge of honor for his sterling rescue of our beloved leader and his aide-de-camp.

Bob
