London March show (1 Viewer)

After all the recent trouble with the wasters in London the Met has missed the boat here they should have placed a banning order in place. Its only going to end one way
Mitch

I don't care how much they want to go to university and mummy and daddy can't afford it, if one of them tries it on with me they will experience several pounds of Jagdtiger to the side of the bonce.

Rob

Ha Ha Ha!! and the Jagdtiger did not even have a scratch.

I looked at the list/layout of vendors. Clive and K&C UK are in separate buildings - you'll have to go outdoors. Is this the normal setup? I thought it was all in one building? And where is the booth with TGM items?

Terry

It's been that way for the last couple of shows Terry, and you only have to cross the courtyard about twenty paces!

Rob

Terry..

TGM are on the maison militaire stall

One week today chaps! . Looking forward to seeing as many of you who can make it. Main hang out joints will be apart from the bar, K&C Uk, Figarti, JG mins and all points east.

Rob

Sincerely hope you are going to visit some of the smaller stands who don't get the excessive publicity of K&C, Britains, Figarti etc. How about a bit of a push for Asset, ATS, Yeomanry, Tommy Atkins, Rank and File, Scarlet and Gold, Sarum etc. just for a change? Trooper

I always check out as many as I can Alan and these will be no exception, especially Asset as I love their home front range.

Rob

Rob,

Please remember to keep an eye out for Heco Tinplate Models and A.W. Military Figures for me.:smile2:

Would love to have some of you come visit me at the Crown Military Miniatures booth, as I will be bringing some affordable Russian-made surprises with me. It's a long way to travel and my luggage weighs more than I do! :) Besides, it will be difficult for me to slip away for a drink with you all this time...so feel free to bring me a drink, and I'll cut you a deal on a connoisseur figure! I hope that offer means I can still stand after thee show.

Four days to go chaps!:smile2::smile2::smile2:

Really looking forward to it now, going to take loads of pics and hopefully will have them up on Saturday afternoon/evening. Can't wait to see all the guys in the bar too. Got my show order in with K&C UK, charging my camera battery as we speak, got cash for a Hot chocolate at 6am and something a little stronger later on:wink2:, got a list of everything I want to check out etc...I JUST LOVE THESE SHOWS!!^&grin:salute::

And for those kind enough to mention it, it is my absolute pleasure taking pics for the forum, I really appreciate all the trouble my friends from around the world take at the Westcoaster and Chicago so am always very happy to repay the favour.^&cool:salute::

Rob

Rob,
I wish I could be there, please take plenty pictures of Little Legion.
Thanks,
Brian

Already looking forward to saturday, sunday, Rob, when you and fellow Treefrogers will provide us with the coverage of another show.
The work of you guys is always very much appreciated and for sure is the next best thing to actually being there :salute::
By the way, what's going on with Jeff (aujj65)? Haven't seen him on here for a while and he usually is posting on the show threads. Hope all is well. Does anybody know?
Konrad

Hi Rob,

I always look forward to the photo-reports of the quarterly London shows on the forum with much eagerness and anticipation. Rest assured that I shall be sitting at my computer this weekend awaiting the first shots to come it.

The merry band of UK Treefroggers never fail in presenting comprehensive coverage of the entire show including some of the smaller less well known cottage industry manufacturers. It is made easy to follow as almost all photographs of the show are on one thread. I hope Jeff makes it this time, having missed the last show on account of the trains not running.

I hope to make it to one of the shows in the not too distant future. If you see a fat old man trying to swing from the chandeleirs and winking at barmaid, that will be me.^&grin:tongue:

Cheers, Raymond.:salute::

Thanks guys, will photo as much as possible and then get them up on the forum as quick as possible. Haven't heard from Jeff for a while, I'm sure he'll be there on Saturday though. Any of you who can ever make it over here for the show would be very very welcome in the bar to join the other drunks:wink2::salute::

All the best and look for photos from late Sat late afternoon/early evening
