London Show December 2024 (2 Viewers)

Absolutely! the usual crowd will be there. And its going to be the biggest toy soldier show ever as there are 4 halls booked - the plastic toy soldier show is also attending and theyre using 2 of the 4 halls. should be fun.....
 
I hope all of you who are attending that you have a great time, meet up with fellow collectors, makers and sellers you know, and all enjoy the day.

Hopefully someone will post images from the day and that BIG John will also be there to post his wonderful YouTubes for us who can't be there.

I have been going to the show for over 30 years now, the first years also to the June show and later only the December show and at 4 locations the most beautiful show was in the Alexander Palace, but that was only once, I miss a lot of the old treefroggers that always been there and kc.uk but things change and people stop collecting or worse .but I keep going and every year I look forward to it!!I will let you know later what the weather was like this year Greetings Richard.

yes, couple of photos attached of a diorama I put together. poor mans impression of Karnak temple!

BigJohn said he will upload his video of the entire show on youtube asap. Should be up sometime Sunday.

The show was "good". Unfortunately the weather was appalling - a storm passing over so this kept numbers down but most traders I talked to said business was good without being exceptional. Most were happy with the attendance and sales. Next show May 2025.

Very impressive scene Stefan with all those Chariots jn procession and the Avenue of Sphinxes.
Like how you've roofed over as they think the original would of been and enjoying your take on the festival with all the dancers etc.

As a side note, when I saw this scene a few years ago, I was prompted to purchase 5 of the same Sphinxes and would have liked 24 like yours, but could not come at the total price for 24, although they were a reasonable cost each. Robin.

Thanks for sharing. Think looking at the items I might have escaped financially lightly. The odd piece I might have been tempted to buy to show I was there, but overall nothing grabbed me. Thought I might have seen Andy behind the K&C display. Robin.

Lot of great looking items! I am looking to return to one of the London shows next year! For now< I virtually shop by video!

The London show is already behind us and it was nice to talk to friends like Andy Staffano about our hobby. Looking forward to next year.

Just to further on this, the guy selling some of the Aeroart had some beautiful older pieces and honestly fair pricing, wish I was there in person for those! I do appreciate the videos as it allows me to connect with the Turner family as well as Mike at LL. Great stuff!
