Now, how many had Rob by now? I wonder. Hope he didn't propose marriage too often to women he mistook for Jen :D

He got confused bless him. Told him Sven was behind the bar, and I think he misheard. Jen / Sven was very gracious in declining the marriage proposal.

The TGM Aircraft workbench & related accessory set is splendid. I was told that most of the parts other than the workbench are metal just like the actual full scale items. My dioramas are going to require a few of these. Nice going TGM!

Great photo coverage Simon. :) All you guys have done a first rate job, so at this rate I won't need to bring my camera in March I'll just sit in the bar! :p;):D

Thanks everyone for the efforts it takes to share the wonderful experience you had at the London Show. Special thanks to:

Andy (UK BOD) – for being 1st to press and also the reminder about priorities of toy soldiers compared to other activities. HINT: Toy Soldiers are No. 1, LOL … Love the new planes from John Jenkins? I must say, you do have a steady hand.

Rob: - for the enthusiasm and the plethora of various pictures throughout

Wraith – love your shots too, they’re pretty clean looking and varied

And to the rest of contributors, thanks that was cool!

BTW, you guys look like you’re having entirely too much fun! One day I’ll get there.

Clive – great job on that Figarti train station. Who made it?

Carlos

TG now - nice figures.

These British paras from Thomas Gunn are cool. Last week I got a couple of there first figures in the line. The sculpting is first rate IMO opinion and the heads to my eye are anotomically portioned to the rest of the body. The painting is top notched and I have several more sets on order.

I understand why their first few sets looked almost identical to KC's style but they seem to be evolving nicely away from them and into there own style.

Anyone else notice the same?

Carlos

Britains again

Too bad I'm a 20th century guy because these Britians are so good they can convert you into in Victorian Age or ACW collector in a heartbeat! Great job Richard Walker and 1st Gear has done to make this company desirable again to collect.

Carlos

Thanks Simon for bringing me along with you to the show with your photos an comments and sharing them. Would have enjoyed the meet at the pub................Joe

Thanks to Andy, Martyn, Rob and Simon for their coverage of the show, some great snaps guys. I particularly liked the Asset coverage Simon cheers for that!!

Rob,

Gutted isn't the word I would use! I am still fuming about the train services down where I live.

But I am here looking at the very fine photos that you, Andy and Martyn have so far provided - much appreciated Mates! :)

Jeff

I feel bad for you Jeff. Time to plan to plan a field tripe for the family and you to sunny Southern California (Irvine, CA) just a few miles away from Disneyland and the rest of the tourist attractions. Yup, I think the weekend of March 6th will do.

Why then? Well it's time for the 21st annual “West Coaster Show". BTW, get there a few days earlier to enhance your collector experience mingling with the rest of us in "room trading" at the hotel.

Many of the manufacturers will be there (Figarti, KC, Britians, Collector Showcase and others).

Carlos

Appreciate all the excellent coverage fellas. Job well done!!

Wraith- any modern sightings?? :)

Guys, you are all very welcome, like I've said before I really appreciate all the trouble you guys go to at Chicago and Westcoaster etc for those of us who can't make it, so am very happy to repay the kindness.

Will do it again in March, so along with Sir Jeff, Lord Andy and Earl Simon of Wraithshire we should have it covered again!
