I asked Mike if he would produce a set of Highland Light Infantry wearing the uniform worn at the Battle of Tel El-Kebir, here are the first figures I collected yesterday, more will be appearing in June :wink2:

Highland Light Infantry Officer with his A.D.C. check the map before the battle.

Is there a Naval Brigade set like this with the officer on either a camel or horse conferring with his ADC?

If so I would love to see a photo. What uniforms and headgear would the figures be wearing?

If not will you be asking Mike to make such a set soon?

Thanks,

Randy

Naval Brigade is a great idea Randy :salute:: Foreign Service Helmets would be the head gear and the uniform would be along the lines of the mounted Officers in these pictures

As an alternative the ADC or Midshipman could be wearing the cap the walking Officer is wearing in this picture

I know Mike has a lot on his plate at the moment but I will sow the seed :wink2:

Thanks Martyn.:salute:: Perhaps 2 versions as you have described. Maybe in time for you at the June show.
I hope to be in London and England this Fall for my first visit to the land of my paternal ancestors, the first of whom came to the Massachusetts Bay Colony aboard the Truelove in 1635 and later was one of the first settlers of New Haven, Connecticut. Unfortunately, I won't be there for any of the Islington shows.

Buster you started me thinking when you said that Mike had made several versions of the subject.
One can never have enough Naval figures.{sm4}

Martyn, I think you're going have to put on another pot o' coffee for all these thristy gobs. What a superb bunch of NB figures you and Mike have come up with, can't wait to see them all together in one of your great camp scenes.

Glad you liked the picture Buster :salute:: I made the camp fire, based it on a Trophy one, found the bucket at a London Show, the logs (twigs) are from my back garden, the stones are fashioned from Milliput ^&grin
