London Show Pics? (1 Viewer)

Finally Sarum, still exciting interest was Patrick's first piece in his now extensive Wild West range "Aces and Eights" depicting the death of Wild Bill Hickok and the major piece from the Sherlock Holmes series with Holmes and Moriarty in hand to hand combat at the Reichenbach Falls. All in all a very enjoyable day, a fair attendance, a good session in the bar and for once Rob was (fairly) well behaved!! Trooper

Thank you all for the great pics. Without you, I would not have even known a lot of these pieces existed. Entertaining and educational as well! And now to wait for the barmaid pic.

Wow! Thanks for the pics guys, FIGARTI!! Coming on Strong!!!{eek3}{sm3}

Great detail on this

For those who don't know Latin, the inscription reads, "To/For Jove/Jupiter, the best and the greatest/mightiest." Note how the Romans did not use spaces.

The Aeroart/Figarti Union Generals seem to be rehashes of figures released some years ago. :rolleyes2:

Doug,
They are supposed to be, this is the same line previewed in Chicago last year. Aeroart and Figarti are teaming up to redo, enhance, rerelease some older best sellers at a much better price point.

the detail on this looks to be even better than the aeroart ---king & country arch of constantine ---which i love.any idea when they will be available to purchase in the u.s.?

Trooper, Rob,
thanks very much for bringing it all to us.
Waiting for and looking at the upcoming pictures is about 1/2 as much fun as actually being there :wink2: ^&grin

Thanking you all for taking great photos and posting them.

You never like to evaluate something until you've seen it in person but on first glance the FL looks better to me than the Marco Polo (Aeroart/Figarti) line.

Ray, I will be posting my photos tomorrow including some really nice boxed sets of 30mm Napoleonic flats.

Jeff

You guys do the best coverage of any of the shows! Thanks Jeff, You Know I'll be looking for that!:p

Man o man I wish I was there to snatch up those Romans! Thanks for the picks guys.

Thanks for taking the time to share your photo's with us all {bravo}} some really nice looking products all way around . Looking forward to seeing more . Regards Gebhard

Rob & trooper,

Thanks for all the images, epecailly showing us the smaller Uk makers, that don't get the exposure that the big boys do such as Yeomanry, Assett, ATS etc.

You have brighten up my cold winter's Sunday morning :)

John

Thanks for taking the time to share pics with everyone who can't be there for one of these fabulous shows. I'm enveous and jealous of all you guys in the U.K., U.S.A.......and now Australia. You probably don't know how good you've got it! Your spoiled with all these incredible shows, nothing like this ever comes around to my neck of the woods. :( :p  Oh well a collector can dream a little dream.
By the way the Little Legion glossy Zulu War Brits carrying the wounded man away in a blanket caught my eye, what a terrific piece and looks super in traditional gloss, that red really pops.

Thanks to everyone who posted, great stuff! Had a question about one of the items. What tank is this pictured off to the side? Looks like an 8th army vehicle, but I can't place it.

That is a Figarti Grant Tank painted in similar colour scheme to K&C's Matilda by none other than our very own Mr Wraith, and if I may say he's done a **** fine job on it .

Many thanks to Trooper and Rob for the nice pictures.

Great coverage of the new items on offer.

Cheers, Raymond:)

Happy to help Raymond and all you guys, this time I aimed for mainly new stuff as Jeff is so good at blanket coverage.

I hope some of you guys will one day make it to London as it's a very enjoyable day and we have a real friendly gang of us now who meet up in the bar each time, everyone is welcome and from comments yesterday it is very much a highlight. Oh yeah, and the barmaid was nice too!:wink2:

Rob

Hey Rob, did you catch a price tag on that Temple of Jupiter by Figarti/Aeroart?
