Great pics and thanks for sharing!
Who makes the D-Day set and WW II Germans pictured above?
Buster
Apart from James being fat, badly dressed and middle aged-his sad look on this occasion was primarily because of the following:-
Just prior to all of us taking a gentle stroll (remember, as has been noted by one of the forum members, none of us can walk fast these days as the majority of us tubby fellows are now fitted with Plastic hips) to the Steam Passage Tavern. James had been ambushed by Clive Ganda who tried to persuade him that he definitely needed the new Figarti Tiger tank (and boy-o what a beast that is) to join the umpteen others (at James's age he cannot quite remember how many he actually has) boxed up in his loft. We all agreed and must have spent a good twenty minutes trying to convince James he really should purchase said item. But he shook his head and stuck to his guns for this trip was figures only and no AFVs.
By the time we got to the Tavern which is about 200yards away from the Business Design Centre almost an hour had passed-well we walk slowly us old Brit froggers and even then poor old Simon had one hell of a job keeping up with us. Andy bought the first round out of his meagre service pension and we set ourselves up-with help from the pub staff lifting us into our chairs-around a table to have a veteran's photo taken-well it was the Sixth of June. Just as the shutter closed James said "I really should have bought that Tiger". Hence Buster- his very sad looking expression in the posted photo. True story which I'm sure James will verify.
NB: The holdall in front of the table however, was jammed full of purchases but none of us could lift it so we called Fed-Ex.

Chin-up James, as long as there's a toy soldier hobby there'll ALWAYS be Tiger tanks a-plenty to choose from.^&grin

Jason, those soldiers are made by Battlewagon Bruce, located on this Forum under Other Manufacturers.
Thanks to all the good mates who posted pics/stories from this past weekend, indeed it is a pleasure to view the hundereds of photos from all types of companies, manufacturers of all things toy soldiers related, looking forward to December show already...Sammy
Strange not to be one of those this show, but I couldn't get out of going to my niece's wedding - so I ended up sunning myself down in Dorset for a long weekend and had an excellent time - goes to show there is more to life than TS's!......{eek3}:rolleyes2::wink2:^&grin^&grin
Many thanks to the usual suspects and I will be there in December. :salute::

Does anyone know any additional details on this Mariela Miniatures set-up? We have a few people asking about more information if there is any!
