I like Figarti's tanks - I picked up the Tiger 222 and the Panther.

Guys, I'm calling it a day here. I'll put some more up especially the general ones tomorrow evening.

Regards

Andy

You might make a grown man cry if you did! And if you decide to do it anyway, you have to use a 1/32 scale mallet.{sm4}

I can make a foam mallet (in 1/32 scale) maybe that would work?

Gents,

Great pictures of the London Toy Soldier Show!!! I wish I could have gone.

Now, let's see some pictures from bar and how shabby you all were dressed. ^&grin

B.

Here you go Buster the "usual bunch of badly dressed, overweight, slightly sad looking, middle-aged men"-Eazy/Obee/UKReb/Wraith/UKBOD who found it all too much for them and retired from the show to partake of some life saving liquid refreshment.

Thanks Bob, the picture pretty much confirms my expectations. :wink2:^&grin I wonder what James is thinking about ..... pondering his current unfortunate situation I suspect, or was it that the barmaid was yet another ugly bloke again this year? :smile2:

Many thanks to Gazza, Martyn, Simon and Andy (yeah, and Bob too!) for their great show pictures, very much appreciated. :salute::

Apart from James being fat, badly dressed and middle aged-his sad look on this occasion was primarily because of the following:-

Just prior to all of us taking a gentle stroll (remember, as has been noted by one of the forum members, none of us can walk fast these days as the majority of us tubby fellows are now fitted with Plastic hips) to the Steam Passage Tavern. James had been ambushed by Clive Ganda who tried to persuade him that he definitely needed the new Figarti Tiger tank (and boy-o what a beast that is) to join the umpteen others (at James's age he cannot quite remember how many he actually has) boxed up in his loft. We all agreed and must have spent a good twenty minutes trying to convince James he really should purchase said item. But he shook his head and stuck to his guns for this trip was figures only and no AFVs.

By the time we got to the Tavern which is about 200yards away from the Business Design Centre almost an hour had passed-well we walk slowly us old Brit froggers and even then poor old Simon had one hell of a job keeping up with us. Andy bought the first round out of his meagre service pension and we set ourselves up-with help from the pub staff lifting us into our chairs-around a table to have a veteran's photo taken-well it was the Sixth of June. Just as the shutter closed James said "I really should have bought that Tiger". Hence Buster- his very sad looking expression in the posted photo. True story which I'm sure James will verify.

NB: The holdall in front of the table however, was jammed full of purchases but none of us could lift it so we called Fed-Ex.
