A tidy amount of figures on this table! Why do all busts of Nappy portray him as a miserable little sod?

That’s me finished for this show.

Gentlemen Last Orders If You Please

The boys have their last drink at the Royal National Bar-next meet "Islington" North London and only a stone's throw from Pentonville Prison-Might be handy for this lot ^&grin

Great great show guys......you all should have been there! I could quite easily have spent my budget three or four times over as the tables were awash with "must haves" making it most difficult to keep repeating to yourself I really musn't.

And as for the Brit Brigade and our illustrious guests Steve from Holland and Duke from the good old US of A..........Gentlemen, it was an absolute pleasure.

North to Islington-for St George and General Rob

Bob (UKReb)

looks that you all have a great time , will be there in december .

Easy one Jeff !
Answer is : because all the busts you mention have been sculpted by Englishmen !
If you look at representations made by French people you might never guess that Napoleon has lostin the end.

Thanks for all the pics !

Nope its all change Richard, hotel is changing so time for show to move on I guess, we are going to find pub/bar/restaurant/bordello to meet up in in December. Will let you know when we've found somewhere mate.

Recce forces will be out scouring for the best drinking establishments as well as trying to find out the location of the show. The best part is that there will be no more cases of drink and buy. You will be surprised what you spend after a few beers.:smile2:

I think Jeff has covered just about everything else that I was going to add but I'll still post them slow-time over the next few days.

Had a very good time yesterday, I know most of it is meeting the gang again; it certainly beats just ordering via the internet. The show wasn't particularly busy but what people were there were spending (step forward the British Treefroggers).

Highlights of the show for me were

1. The hand-painted diorama backdrops by ATS(www.fineartscenery.com).
2. Britains World War I figures that I picked up.
3. Ordering a Crusader Wall from TM Terrain.

What did I buy -
A Figarti Stuka and the new Russian snipers
Britains -More Zulus, Nile and WWI Somme - I also got the set from Card box - Vickers Gun delivered by post as well.
JJD - Burnaby, LE Fig and a couple of additional Sudan sets

So all in all a good day.

Andy

RESPECT THE PURCHASE...........(the morning after)

Thank you Rob, Jeff, Andy and Martyn for the fantastic coverage! What a great time you all must have had! I find the variety at the London shows to be most impressive. There's so much there it must just be a feast for the senses. I've really enjoyed all of the photos and want to thank you guys again for all of your efforts. My favorites from the pics are the FL Germanic tribesman, the diorama pieces by by TM Terrain, and the ATS hand painted back drops ({eek3}stunning!!). I say gold medals to all three!

I think most stuff has already been covered by those quicker to recover from their hangovers, but I'll chuck up what I have, mostly duplicates, but my head will hurt too much to try and seperate what's been put up already and what hasn't so.....

Figarti dio piece with free Tiger (and it wasn't 5 minutes, more like 2)

Two 1/1 scale models. Well, not really models. And the 1/1 bit is probably a bit tenuous. But they are both very well weathered, bringing out the age and alcohol abuse that both figures have been subject to over the years.....

Country Honor figures, being sold by Piers Christian. Looked very nicely detailes and well priced. First time I've seen these:
