It's always a pleasure to post photos of the show, 151 this time. :)

I missed all three shows last year and I wanted to see the new venue before I passed judgement- not to my liking to be honest. School halls and next to no ventilation made for a warm environment! Going to be very warm in June. :(

There wasn't (imho) any atmosphere at all and no buzz to the show. :(

A number of dealers were absent and some used to be regulars to the March show. :(

It was great to catch up with Andy, Simon and meet Roy for the first time. :smile2:

After only two hours we had had enough and so Andy, Simon and myself went to the pub just down the road for a very tidy and tasty burger washed down with a few pints. Much reminiscing about the old shows and TF'ers past and present and I know things move on and changes make people uncomfortable but I'm not sure about this venue.

Having said all this, we are going back in June and not just to the pub! ^&grin

Hi Carlos,

David is a victim of his own success! When I got round to his stand nearly all of his items for sale had already been sold and had disappeared! {eek3} Sorry.

Jeff

Thanks for sharing your pictures. It looks like it was a good show!

And the last four photos....:(

Sorry, but I couldn't find Asset at the show.

Jeff
Hi Jeff,
Many thanks for your efforts yesterday and giving those who couldn't make it a flavour of what was on offer. I think some of the traders share your views of the new venue. Some have probably decided to vote with their feet. That said I seem to remember that Anne Randall,(Asset Miniatures) took, the decision when the show was still at the BDC, Islington not to trade completely at the March date as she found the numbers of collectors were always down on the other two dates due to it being very close to the December one. She only attended so that collectors could collect orders while her other half sold off figures from his own personal collection that were surplus to requirements. I don't know for certain, but perhaps Asset decided it wasn't worth their while to attend on this occasion.
Photos of ATS & Lt. legion were particularly well received.
Hope you are also headache free as well.
Kind Regards
Martin

Fantastic coverage!
Thanks a lot for the detailed sequence of shots.

Redcoat Models stand - a WBritains dealer - had these for sale at just under £30 each. Just what War Along the Nile collectors have been waiting for! {bravo}}

Hi Jeff and other co members,
Any Idea how to reach Redcoat, could not pin point there e-mail ...{sm2}{sm2}so that we from overseas can delight on these new Fuzzy Wizzy sets?
Cheers
