Long Tom Paint Flaking (2 Viewers)

Neil,

I don't think it's unreasonable for them to ask you pay for the shipping costs initially. I will discuss with them the remainder of your post.

Brad

Well Brad when I had the problem with my kc Me 262 it cost me nothing as Andy just sent me a replacement and let me keep the other one . That what i call service .

Neil,

I think it's great that Andy did that. I think the reason Figarti couldn't do that is because K & C also sell direct (besides using a dealer network) and probably had several on hand whereas Figarti only make approximately 100 of each item.

They sent me a UPS label. I shipped it to Chicago and they shipped it from there. I did use my packing supplies to ship it.

Lets not obfuscate the issue and seemingly make this only about the Long tom. Does this apparent act go for all the models they have released which have flaking paint??? Thats shermans and panzers and everything else in between which, includes the Hornisse.

Standing by the products is what should be expected making customers pay postage for a return of a figure is not right or, understandable. If a company makes a issue they should cover all expenses the customer incurs for their error.

They should also expect some sets to have damage etc as it happens to everyone so, why not have a small sample to cover this eventuality???
