Hey TREEFROGGERS I don't like to dwell in the past ( catch the irony considering our hobby :p ) so lets look out to 2011. What are you guys expecting this upcoming year to bring from K&C?
Over the last little while we've seen a proliferation of new lines ex. RAF, Kriegsmarine, USAAF and even completely new directions within existing lines ex. 8th Army Legionaires, WS Cossacks etc. I'm sure the surprises will continue.
My crystal ball says price increases, new lines, new directions within lines, potential mergers, gloss, different scales, different building mediums etc etc. I say bring it on, this Golden Age of collecting is awesome!!! :D

I have a feeling in my old bones that D Day, RAF, 8th Army, are all in for some superb releases in 2011, not to mention the Jagdtiger and Typhoon we already know are coming.I also think the 250 series that started so well this year will go from strength to strength, with some very exciting releases. This year was very strong, I think next year could be even better. You just have to love this Hobby:)

I hope you AE,ACW,Napoleonic, fans all get some good releases next year too.

For me of the known series to date, I will be holding out for....AE,MG,SOTE,LGHT HORSE,LOJ,DESERT VILLAGE & NORMANDY VILLAGE. That's plently to keep me broke, but every chance they will all be replaced with WW11, such is life. Cheers, Robin.

You know, looking at your list, I think there maybe several things next year:cool:.

Who would merge?? We have had the figarti merger announcement but, I would doubt K&C would feel the need to merge and, who with?? I see all the main players trying to outdo each other in the respective releases even more than they have been doing so. K&C is sure to move into air combat from WWI. interesting about the glossy talk but, all is certain is that K&C will release a huge array of figures and AFV's which will continue to the masses

I'm hoping for a big year on the WWI front. Fighting 1914 French, aviation, and more Lighthorse, as well as some unexpected surprises. Also looking forward to the Napoleonic, American Revolution, and Civil War releases. I dont collect these but they are certainly fun and beautiful to look at. Happy New Year everybody!

Yes more WW1... Andy did say fighting french and Calvary at the end of the year but now might be more like the upcoming year.

As a point of clarification, there was no "merger" between Figarti and Aeroart but an alliance in a particular area. Merger signifies that one company is taking the over, with the separate existence of one ceasing. That is not happening here.

I don't think anyone thought merger in its pure sense on here but, its appreciated for those who may not have heard much info about the figaero relationship

Thank you Matlock :D:p:D:D

So far the only ones hinted are 8th Army Legionaires, amoured car, and the WW1 French 1914 fighthing and cavalry. There are missing catalog numbers in the Napoleonics, so more of them too AND (of course) even more WW2 Germans
