I am looking for Streets of Hong Kong , MOONGATE , HK089.

Please let me know if anyone has one to sell. Thanks

I would like to buy HK089 also...maybe there are two available from multiple members?

I recall seeing a post within the past 24 hours, either in the K&C forum or the eBay watch forum, that someone was selling it, or saw it up on eBay. I can't find the post now, but do a search, either here in the forum, or even up on eBay, maybe you'll find someone selling it.

Prost!

You're not thinking of the metal gate that Ron was selling on here are you Brad?

Here is a picture of HK089 that we are looking for...of course Greg aka (showman) has asked first. I'm hoping that two people have them for sale so I can buy one also!

think i read there were only a few made , around 20 or something like that

Metal Gate was very very limited and I forgot to ask Andy about it while in NYC. I am sure there is a story behind it, I just keep forgetting to ask.

This Moongate has been long retired and is seemingly hard to get ahold of now.

The K&C USN/USMC series and Chris's Sand Pebbles gunboats have brought on a flurry of activity for K&C's SOHK and Imperial sets. Many of these items sat idle and now it is common to get out-of-stock messages from the dealers. Andy's announcement of the Chinese Junk and pirates has also stirred up interest in these items. It is definitely a seller's market now.

Don't confuse the (HK089) Moongate with the rare (HK168) Metal Village Gateway!

I know that is exactly what I was saying, I have them both.

I looked up the numbers and yours are right:

89 is the old Polystone set that was modeled after the original Paper Machette version (Just like the CHinese Garden which was released in Polystone too)

168 is the experimental Metal Gateway.

I was pretty sure you knew...though somewhere along the threads it seemed to be confused with the other.

HK168 was done in a very limited release of 64 pieces. It originally came in a
plain brown box as shown below.

It is unique in my opinion because it was done in sheet metal.:)

It makes a very nice display piece.

How many do you own? It seems there are more of them in the background?

I had a couple of them, they disappeared very quickly and I bought one from another collector and then was lucky to find probably the last one from a dealer!

I passed my unboxed one to another collector, and now have the nice boxed one left.

It is a very unusual, and interesting piece.:)

YES, I need the polystone HK89, boxed or no box.

I have The Chinese Metal Gate also...the LE one...

Please someone let me know...

What is an "LE" one? I would guess later edition??? If so what was the differences?

the limited edition one, or LE, it's just my stupid abbreviation for the same thing we are talking about HK168...I could not recall the #

I also have been looking for the moongate but no luck whatsoever. Any suggestions? Pls feel free to PM me! Thx!
