Mine arrived today. A very nice rendition of a BF 109. Will go well with my other K&C WWII Aircraft. Cheers

Good to see there one still flying but you can see why RAAF started making P51D in there country with brilliant British Merlin engine they had a top long range fighter to take on the japs
Did not want to miss the boat on this one. :rolleyes2:
PA you can send it to me. I'll take care of it.
Which one....the plane or the boat. ^&confuse.
If Andy has no interest in making it as a poly, I would welcome it in wood.
Are you referring to RAAF or USAAF in fighting the Japanese forces? RAAF: Wouldn't that be the spitfire as the preemminent fighter in the pacific? US: That would be the P-38 AFAIK.
I just know that the Australians built the P51D/K under licence in there country, don't know much about the pacific war I'm sorry to say making the wrong person
Here the list of fighters in that timeframe:^&confuse
Hawker Demon: 1935 - 1942
Brewster Buffalo: 1941 - 1943
Bell P-39 Airacobra: 1942 - 1943
Curtiss Kittyhawk: 1942 - 1946
Supermarine Spitfire: 1942 - 1945
CAC Boomerang: 1942 - 1946
De Havilland Mosquito: 1943 - 1953
North American P-51 Mustang: 1945 - 1960
Looks like the P-51 was almost post war.
