M113 comparisons with k&c (3 Viewers)

Does anybody have the recent but now retired FL M113 personnel carrier and would also happen to have the k&c versions or any k&c tank so I can compare sizes and colours. I know fl is normally slightly smaller but any pics welcome. Thank you.

IMO there is a significant size difference between the Three manufacturers, The Collectors Showcase being the largest, then King & Country, to the smaller First Legion version. I wouldn't mix them in displays, however some collectors do, depends on the size of the figures you intend to use with them and how close they are in the display. And of course the detail etc varies, First Legion being better detailed.

yes your right, this was my concern, I had only ever owned 1 FL vehicle which was a king tiger but sold that ages ago and that you could tell was smaller than k&c, I’m probably gonna go with the CS version as it’s half the price as well

I prefer the K & C version as it's better detailed, but the opening features on the CS version adds some display opportunities.

Speaking only for me, if I collect a K & C version of a figure or a tank, I’m not collecting the corresponding one from FL and vice versa. I collect the FL Vietnam range but not the K & C range; they are too different (although K & C has produced many more items).

I think he was looking for a side by side comparison. I know that in the past Julie did that with figures. I’m not sure she’d want to do that with armored vehicles.
