Thanks. M26 came in very late/ last few months of WWII but was quite impressive with 90mm gun.

The M26 was late to the war; but defeated several Tiger I's in Germany. The M26 showed its capabilities best in Korea, destroying many T34-86's. The design was sound and was improved in the M48 and M60. The line was finally replaced by the M1 in 1980, 35 years after its combat debut.
