Major HB Sale - GPA and Damaged Panther (1 Viewer)

I ordered the winter since I have the winter berge, but I was looking at the 2 tone as I think it matches well with the King tiger for the fall of berlin. The muddy tracks would be a problem in the city but I thought I might camoflage it with city rubble and brick?
Does that work?
Ray

I think the problem is the tank is on an angle because it has sunk in the mud so by hiding the tracks and placing it in the city it will look like it has sunk into the street, Besides I think the mud treatment is well done so I would want to see it.

Hi Frank,

i agree with you, i would love to see more HB damaged vehicles esp russian ones.

it would have added more drama to my display if my Tiger/Panther besides a recently destroyed enemy tank.:)

or my troops casually walking past another enemy armour destroyed.:p

Thanks Frank and Nasir,
I guess I'll wait till the Winter version arrives and see what else to do.

My Damaged Winter Panther landed in the Southwest Sector c. 10 days ago while I was away from Home Base. Hope this helps you out!

My winter damaged panther arrived about 2 weeks ago. Looks good with the winter bergepanther.

No worries--remember they are shipping to us in batches and orders are filled in the order they were received. Your guess is as good as anyone's as to when the next batch will arrive but we are at the ready for when they do.

Yes Shannon your right as usual, I talked to Mandi and it's boxed and ready to go, the other guys getting ther's 2 weeks ago just freaked me out a little.

Just recieved it today WOW!!! This is a great model at a beyond great price! I'm thinking once again about the 2 toned version, these are a steal and anyone that collects WWII and doesn't get one need to seriously consider counciling of some sort!!!:D
Thanks again for the great offer treefrog,
Ray

Hi Ray,

you got the winter version i presume?

Hi Ray,

Yes I did, give me a day or two and I'll take some pics with the winter Bergepanther.

I Had the Idea of getting the 2 color one and using it in a Fall of Berlin type of set and use debris around the base to hide the mud but someone pointed out it looks "sunk". But after recieving it I'm thinking about it again, I was planning to put it right up next to a destroyed building with Debris piled all around it and against it only now I'm thinking of a partially collapsed wall on the corner thats "sunk" to simulate the weight of the debris collapsing the suspension?
