Malaysia Airlines (2 Viewers)

Personally I view this thread as one about a crime where a particular country has some involvement. The fact some forum members are expressing anger should not be a surprise given the nature of what has happened.

It is not a political thread in the sense where it might go Republican v Democrat or Conservative v Labour and likely to cause argument amongst members etc

If this is a political thread then if 911 happened now it would fit the same criteria.

Australian PM just announced 45 experts of various types on way to Kiev. Includes former head of Defence Force Air Chief Marshall Houston who was also involved in search for previous Malaysian Airlines flight.

Gentle Friends,

There is no doubt that the event is tragic beyond belief and it generates raw and enraged reactions. However, please remember that the topic of politics is not generally allowed on the forum. Please post with caution and good judgment or the thread might be locked or deleted.

Warmest personal regards,

Pat

This is under the chat lounge and people should be able to talk about anything they want.

I think the anger/passion in response to this post is exactly how we wish the whole world would react to this tragedy.

Agreed PA. I think the Chat-room is the appropriate place to 'vent' or at the very least be able to express some level of outrage and frustration as long as it doesn't dissolve into personal attacks on one another.

Gents,

Went to bed last night with a TFT Forum stone in my mattress last night. Woke up to see what song GICOP had named on the "song" game and see if I was banned for life. To my surprise, you gents kinda of supported me on this thread and my frustration with the Malaysia disaster and the gag order on the thread.

So, thank you and you made my day. I was just about to throw the towel in and leave the forum for other pastures.

Pat, my fellow Texan who is prisoner in another state, I have no ill will towards ya. It is just that "politics" has nothing to do with this tragedy.

It is political. No getting around that. Besides there are plenty of places to express
your thoughts. The Daily Mail has an active response. You really have to go to
a foreign news site to get more. American Newspapers have censorship in spades.

WOW! all trace of me is gone.... just like the Malayasian flight...:(
