Here are some new figures that we will soon receive from Manes Marzano. He's starting a new series called the 'Manes Marzano Collection - Special Edition."

The name of set is :"French Soldiers-Retreat from Russia" from the Napoleonic Wars-Code MMSP1.

This set is the first set of one series of three sets, about the retreat from Moscow.The three sets together will form a big diorama.

We expect the price to be $116. We're double checking about whether they will come with a wooden box. As soon as we have the price definite we will get it on the web site to pre-order.

He expects them to be ready in late November or early December.

We finally have pricing on MMSP1 - French Soldiers-Retreat from Russia. It will be $145 for the 7 piece set, and the wooden box that it comes in will be even better than the normal Manes Marzano wooden boxes. I can't wait to see them - they will even have a latch on them like a trunk.

I just heard from Fernando today - the sets are ready to ship from Argentina. If all goes well we'll see them by the end of the week.

I spoke with Fernando of Manes Marzano about these sets a few weeks ago. He had originally planned only three sets in the Retreat from Russia series but they have been so popular he now plans to release seven sets total.
The Retreat from Russia sets have been by far the most popular of all the Manes Marzano we have sold.

I have both sets and I just love them. Besides these two sets, I only collect K&C Napoleonics. I think hard core Nap collectors like myself will love this series. I look forward to more releases in this range.
