Although each of may quibble with the mores of the owners, this Forum is intended to be a place in which people of all ages can participate. Yes, you can argue that violence as depicted in some of the toy soldiers we purchase are more pernicious than the beauty of the human body (and I would agree with that argument). However, at the end of the day, Shannon and Pete are paying the freight here and I guess if we don't like it, we have other options.

Yes, not a great deal, just some spice...^&grin

FWIW, I'm cool with the call to pull it.

Then again, I've got the original. And the memories......oh, the memories.... :wink2:

Hi Rob,

Good to have your pictures back. I can start off again as if the show was just yesterday.

Re: March London show pics

Hi guys - I saw the pic below of a plane and crew from Dorset Soldiers - which has aroused a bit of interest. Me too - so I contacted Giles Brown at Dorset to ask for details. He tells me that this one is currently out of production - but two more are available. I know some others were interested - so am passing on details below.

The one below is called "Bi-plane in the Desert"

It is of tin-plate - and comes unpainted - at £18 ( that's GB pounds)
The figures are £2.80 each as castings - and can be varied to suit you. If you want the ones from the other planes - that's fine.

Last one he sent me a pic of is below - which he calls "Spotter"
Again its tin-plate - and costs £15. Again all figures are £2.80

I am having some of these lovelies at those prices - though as my interest is in unpainted - I didn't ask about painted ones. As I know that others will be interested too - am passing on the information - as they aren't in his online catalogue yet. Best of luck - johnnybach.^&grin

My two Dorset fully painted aircraft arrived today. They are, tinplate or some other sheet metal, and about equivalent in quality as early production Heco items. Although somewhat primative in comparison to later Heco Tinplate Models, they are very nice planes, and I am happy to add the aircraft and the figures that came with them to my collection.
