Headline 10 years from now "Marines Desperate to Obtain Tanks."

Like the Navy 12 years ago, "Oh, we don't need frigates anymore, so we won't spend $50 million per ship to upgrade them" Navy now, "We need frigates! They'll only cost $800 million each."

Yeah, I read that. And cutting Marine aviation, landing craft and artillery cos. They're investing in UAVs. Not going to be much of a Marine expeditionary force left. I guess they can guard the admiral's quarters. :rolleyes2: Reminds me of what a Marine LTC once told me, "tankers... they think they're Marines." :tongue: Chris

The Stumps..Hot and dry...It's a great vacation spot

My first thought was another change for the Corps, but after some reading it seems as they intend to move into a more fast reactionary force.
Probably better suited to the overall mission of the Marine Corps.
