Those 2 card sets are 2 of the most sought after sets from the 50's and early 60's. I was a non-sports card collector before the speculators entered the hobby and totally destroyed it. Just from the photos, they look to be in good condition, unfortunatley the corners of the cards aren't sharp which would make them NM. Anyway, I would definatley check out ebay or a local shop that you trust. I haven't been involved with the card hobby for years, but those cards are worth a lot of money to certain collectors... Good luck...

Although not selling, it would interesting to know what they're worth. The Martian cards are in pretty good shape, but the Civil War cards look kind of dirty. I had a rubber band around both sets for 40+ years and you can guess what happened to the top and bottom cards.

That is the most common story you here from baby boomer collectors. The rubber bands ruined the top and bottom cards in many sets, thus making those two cards hard to find in good condition and that much more valuable because of it. The card hobby was a fun one prior to the afore mentioned speculators ruining the hobby. I also was heavily involved in the hobby until about 1995 when I just bailed out on the whole mess. -- Al

I got a reprinted set of the Mrs Attack cards a few back as a gift.
