Greetings Everyone!

Here is the May edition of my Distelfink Airlines aviation newsletter. This edition features an article about the die-cast model airplanes Hallmark made in their "Legends In Flight" collection, which was produced from 1999 to 2001. Did anyone collect these when they were out? Some were great little models...others not so much.

Also featured in this edition is an article about the "Spirit of St. Louis", and another little-known aircraft owned by Charles Lindbergh, his Lockheed Model 8 Sirius. Both aircraft can be seen today in the National Air and Space Museum.

The U.S. Army's rare C-20E (military variant of the Gulfstream III) is also featured, as well as the CRJ900LR regional jet.

Please check it out if you have some time. I would appreciate it!

The newsletter is available at the link below if you are interested in reading it.

Excellent writing and interesting articles. I look forward to reading the June edition. Corey, thank you!

Hi Everyone!

Panzer ace and amund, thank you for the kind words!

I write these monthly (at least I try to), sometimes they are a few days late, etc. I post them here when I write a new one. They focus on my airshow travels and visits to aviation museums and on aircraft, that type of thing. In the airshow and aviation event off-season, I bring in some other topics like models, etc. I try to mix it up a little bit and include different stuff so everyone has something to read (commercial, military, historical, etc).

If you guys would like to catch up on editions, here are all the ones from last year and the ones from this year. Just open the links, and you can choose which you'd like to read. It should be simple to navigate.
