Any news on May releases? Is John going to announce releases for next month or are things too hard due to the current political climate?

Julie normally puts them on mid month and not very often when there is a Monday update, which we had yesterday, i could be proved wrong, hopefully. Releases would have been planned months in advance, so hopefully see them soon, agree on the current political climate, but that is in the US, there is no change in Europe, NZ, UK, Australia, etc for imports.

I am looking forward to new Jacobites.

I asked the same to T Gunn and they should be out this week or early next week.

After what new figures etc that are already in the system and in the process of being released and perhaps for the next month or so, I can't see how the tariffs, will not effect UK, Australia, NZ, Canada, Singapore, Europe etc as far as new releases for collecting Toy Soldiers go, with the US being the biggest market, if, as at present, it's looking likely, the sales of New releases and restocks will be severely hit and new releases halted at least temporary, meaning the cash flow is interrupted.
I'm sure some decisions will have already been made, if only to delay and not outright cancel orders with factories, many of whom, depending on what they produced, have already had US orders cancelled and these workers, will be out looking for employment elsewhere, all having families and bills to pay !

I think we have to wait and see. I suspect May releases have already been produced and orders for output from factory's made a few months in advance.

It may be numbers produced are smaller or suspendetd altogether I suspect a long trade war between US/China will calm down eventually but its how long it persists is the kicker.

Manufacturers and dealers survived Covid lockdown in the main. Let's hope they can survive a Trump administration.

Crossed fingers for a speedy resolution.
