FX's new series...
the "Mayans MC" premiers Sept 4th...
it was created and directed by Kurt Sutter who also wrote Sons of Anarchy...
an American crime drama that revolves around an outlaw motorcycle club...
which ran 7 seasons and was FX's highest rated series...

the Mayans MC...
takes place two-and-a-half years after the events of Sons of Anarchy...
and will focus on the struggles of Ezekiel "EZ" Reyes...
a prospect in the Mayan MC charter on the California/Mexico border...
EZ is the gifted son of a proud Latino family...
whose American dream was snuffed out by cartel violence...
now, his need for vengeance drives him toward a life he never intended and can never escape...

I am anxiously awaiting this one too, loved SOA, it ranks up there with Sopranos for me!

I loved this show...
it was a interesting well done series with a lot of well known actors...
Katey Sagal...
Kim Coates...
Tommy Flanagan...
Dayton Callie...
Ron Pearlman...

lots of revenge plots...

the most unbelievable part of the series...
was that it was set in some fictional town in California...
with a small local population...
and every episode...
6-12 people were murdered...
and were investigated by a tiny 4-5 man local police force...

when in reality...
if that many people were murdered every week...
in anywhere USA...
you would think they would get some government/federal assistance...

my favorite character was Otto Delaney...a gruesome individual...played by director/actor Kurt Sutter himself...who's role was an incarcerated SAMCRO motorcycle prisoner...that had his eye gouged out by Aryian prisoners and purposely chewed off his own tongue so he couldn't testify against his own gang...
