ME 110 schemes? (1 Viewer)

I was reading one of the threads for the Figarti show and saw that the ME 110 would be available in different schemes?

The "Wespe" version was shown at the show.

What other schemes will be made?

Will they be for future release or do you have to choose what scheme you want?

Any information would be appreciated so I can plan my budget!!!

I must ask, how is this to be done? I mean is would be a logistic nightmare for the seller to keep track of. Think about it. How can it work out?

Really now, someone tell me how this can possibly work?

It does seem a nightmare as this type of thing will get people looking for the obscure paint jobs and will be a real pain for the factory painters. May be the last time this will be offered if it is being done

BINGO . . .Mitch, you though about it. It's not possible. How will EACH scheme be paid for, in advanced, on delivery, what?

I'm sure Matt at the HB won't like it and I couldn't blame him.

Maybe Rick will do 2 schemes and that's it. But I'm sure the limit will still be 100 made and not of each scheme.

No one is saying officially.

It does seem like a difficult concept to put into practice. Certainly someone could end up with a real rarity of a paint scheme. I just went ahead and ordered the version shown in Chicago. I don't have an Eastern Front planes, and I like the way it looks. Going to look really good beside the upcoming K&C ME-109. Just for good measure, I have the P-38 on the way to my house too, due to arrive next week. I told myself I would never pay over $300 for a plane, and the 2 Figarti versions just blew that plan away.

I received my shipping confirmation earlier today for the ME110! I guess they came out sooner than expected!!!

When I asked about an unpainted version to buy if the individual scheme was mentioned I was told that they did not think they had any left unpainted. That sounds to me as if they all were factory painted to the versions they showed at the show. Kind of makes you think its not down to the collector and, as its not been stated by the Company may have just been speculation or rumour. who knows? especially if some are shipping now as mentioned

Good points raised.
From a manufacturer and dealer perspective this would be a logistical nightmare.
I'm assuming there would be an extra cost for a bespoke paint version and it would then make sense that at least a down payment was made in order to process, but to cope withy the miriad schemes that may be wanted would be impossible (IMHO). And then there is the question that the variant maybe different e.g nightfighter, tank buster etc., which is a whole different ball of wax.
As European Distributor I've asked for clarity but there is a national holiday in China so it may be early next week before something definitive comes back.
