Merry Christmas Everyone!

Its Christmas Day here in Australia already - 3pm in the afternoon on a hot sunny day - not a cloud in the sky. Have already shared a BBQ breakfast and gone for a swim in the surf this morning off Manly Beach. The sea here in Sydney is as flat as a millpond is a warm 21degrees. Absolutley fantatstic! Had the largest Christmas lunch with my family and eaten my fill - absolutely stuffed and couldn't go back down to the beach coz I'd look like a beached whale!! Will probably go down to Bondi Beach later with a few coldies and watch the Poms and Paddies fry themselves lobster red in the sun.. Priceless!

Anyway you guys, just wanted to wish you all a safe and enjoyable Christmas Day wherever you are. I know many of you in the Northern Hemisphere will be fighting snow and ice - so keep warm and I hope those storms are not too severe on you. To my friends here in the Southern Hemisphere with me - I wish you cloudless days and plenty of long warm BBQ friendly summer nights. And more than anything else to all I wish...

"PEACE" on Earth this Christmas and into 2009. God knows we need it but it starts with all of us.... NOEL. :)

I'll second that Noel, wonderful day in Sydney indeed. More coldies and food again tomorrow along with the boxing day test match between us and the Proteas. Merry Christmas back at ya!! :D

Yes, we had an Aussie Christmas by the pool with family too. What a great way to spend a day! Hope everyone's had/having a wonderful Christmas.

Merry Christmas to all, from Pennsylvania, U.S.A.......Wish I was there. You Aussies seem to know how to party right...Michael

My folks are across there, doing the lobster thing :D, and spending my inheritance. Sounds like the perfect Christmas location to me. Have a good one!

Merry Christmas from frozen Wisconsin. 0 degrees F here this morning and lots of snow. Grandchildren were up bright and early at 5:00 a.m. to see what Santa brought them. I think Grandpa needs to go back to bed.

Merry Christmas from chilly New York. Its 9:25 a.m., and I am sitting with my 1 year old daughter, waiting from my 3 year old son to wake up so I can watch them open presents . . . :)

Merry Christmas to all, my family and I were up at 5:30 a.m. opening presents, I got some great K&C items...enemy surprise, winter schwimmwagon, alive and dead, and the 3 germans sitting in the back of my german halftrack, not a bad haul I say, hope everyone got what they wanted, and a happy new year is just around corner.....Sammy

That is funny! Don't worry, with the weak dollar, they should be able to bring you all kinds of gifts with the exchange!!

Merry Christmas from south Florida. Our forecast is for a high of 82 degrees tomorrow and sunny. We had an unusually warm Christmas this year, but the weather was nice. Personally, I had a wonderful Christmas with wife and family. My father is 86 years old and extremely ill, so I'm reasonably sure this was his last Christmas, but my two younger sisters were both there, with their families and my mother was very thankful to have us all home. My nephew was there with his 31 year old fiancee. She was diagnosed earlier this year with very aggressive colon cancer. She has gone through exhaustive surgeries, chemotherapy and radiation treatments and was just recently told she is now cancer free. This year we all cut back on gifts, but here was much for my family to be thankful for this Christmas.
