since I was pretty sure nobody would buy me what I really wanted for Christmas...

I bought myself a gift...

a 2016 FLSTF Harley Davidson "Fatboy"...

so if you don't get what you really wanted under your tree...

just go buy it yourself...^&grin

Hi Mike,

looks very good!!! Have a good trip!!!

Best regards

Timo

Merry Christmas and a peaceful New Year to everybody on the forum!

Pete

PS Hope Santa brings you what you were hoping for!

PPS Great bike Mike!! Where do you store the mince pies?

There is a lot of Toy Soldiers locked into that present. Have a great festive season Mike. Robin.

Is it matte or glossy.^&grin Beautiful just beautiful.Merry Christmas!
Mark

That is quite an awesome gift!!!

FYI I am quite a skilled passenger on those -- too bad you are too far away from where I will be in Texas this Spring ^&grin

Wow. Good present. A while back, I was going to treat myself to a M1A rifle (civilian M-14), but backed off because I have 3-daughters who probably wouldn't appreciate such fine weaponry when I hand it down to them. Its bad enough they're going to inherit my TS collection.

Now that's a present. Used to own an M1A but it fell victim to college costs for my kids, along with most of my firearms collection. I still have several of the mags and other web gear that I got for it but the scope and different stocks (walnut, fiberglass, folding), all went with the rifle. It was a beautiful shooter.:( -- Al

Now that is a wonderful stocking stuffer!!!! A beautiful bike. Nicely done!!!

Nice present to yourself mate any chance of you standing next to it for a scale comparison, and do they come in GREY ^&grin

thank you everyone...only 2 days old and I'm really enjoying it...

Mark...
the color is "vivid black"...
it is glossy...
not matte...

that sure sounds like a toy soldier question...^&grin

Martyn...that's cool...I could see you on a Heritage Softtail...^&grin...

never met you...but it seems like that would suit you...regal but brawny...with a touch of luxury...

I have always thought of them as highway bikes...
but when you look at them compared to their touring bikes...
they are definitely a street cruisers...

did you have the windshield and bags?

I need a pouch for smokes...keys...sunglasses...garage opener...etc...

I thought it would have been a whole bunch of Indians or Foreign Legion troops Mike but very nice just the same. Just take care and don't do any wheelies down the road! ^&grin

Merry Christmas mate.

Tom

I like my skin...don't want to peel it off...^&grin

I have gotten to the age where I am a "putt-putt around town" type of guy now...

Hi Mike

I bought my one back in December 1990 :wink2:

Trying to convince Marie that it would be a good idea to treat my grandson Archie to one.........having a bit of a struggle at the moment as he is only 3 years old.........Marie thinks I want to get another for myself.......as if ^&grin

Have a great Christmas mate

All the best

So, I come out of my sabbatical and what am I subjected too? Pictures of Mike "The Machine" Miller's new bad *** and beautiful ride. You sir have reached a new low in forum Christmas posts, making us Harley fans jealous. Good Lord man, that bike is gorgeous!!! I mean it is clean brother. I bet it purrs and rides and good as it looks. Congrats man!

Nope those are not stock handle bars. He added those and the mirrors. He's also had the front forks blacked out now. Don't have a picture of that yet. He plans on blacking out the entire bike, but I had to put a halt on the spending on it for right now. Have some other expenses that take priority over the bike.
