Missing LAH Poses and Personalities (2 Viewers)

Brandenburg Gate..Now thats a great idea... As far as the LAH series goes, I was in way too deep ($$).
I think K&C has run the gamut on on that one. And I never buy remakes of certain figures i.e. Himmler,
Hitler, way too many Deitrich's, Georing, Enough already. How about a USMC marching 8th&I ?

There has been some talk in the past over a Brandenburg Gate. The only problem is it would be HUGE in 1/30 scale

I cannot see why they would even contemplate discontinuing a range with such popularity. IO also diosagree that they look back to some of the makers sets for inspiration and, have anything to catch up on. Many makers have replicated the LAH but, none have done it as comprehensively as K&C

Doubt that we would see a SA truck filled with troops. Plenty of poses for dietrich Himmler etc but, they cover different times You would see Himmler et al marching in parade uniform and, would see them in trenchmacs and grey dress uniform so, K&C have covered the poses for those collectors who want different things from their collecting habits related to the berlin range. Too many is not a problem for me as its better to have a glut than be complaining that they are not done
Mitch

The SA truck done with driver and several different add on figures which can be purchased separately would be IMO
Quite feasable

I definitely need more buildings - both facades and 3D models.

I also need more civilians; flag/standard bearers both for the military and NSDAP; and (in a few years time) a standing SS band when the current needs to be replaced. The Kriegsmarine kettle drummer is very nice.

And Andy if you're reading, for future NSDAP banners, having the names of different cities would be great - forget Berlin or München and go for BRESLAU or Posen or Memel or.......

PA...

Everything is feasable but, as the owner has just commented upon what is suggested,what is released, and, what is interesting is completely different. I just don't see this as being a release or popular and, I like this era.

Breslau...

Like the idea of the named banners. I am currently working on some of my own to mix the troops up. Love the banner

GOOSE STEP!

Unfortunately, Andy has refused to reproduce goose stepping SS (as he did 10 years ago, glossy)

All other companies (Black Hawk, CS) made goose stepping SS

As you say all others make Goosestepping and, they would be good to have. Hard to see how these would not be as popular as the other figures so, there must be some other reason, like manufacturing issues that means this is a no

Ever since watching Hitler's Bodyguard, I have been asking for a Bruno Gesche figure. Being Hitler's head bodyguard, I don't see how he could be ignored in the LAH line.

He also said NEVER SAY NEVER .....

.........the cities of Marienburg (lost forever) or Saarbrücken as shown in this rally, would be great for future banner releases.

I wonder with how popular the LAH series well, berlin 38 is, if its not a possible option to sell the flags seperately?? I know I would like extra flags and, I do like the idea of different cities on the banners

The flags are spellbinding. More would certainly add great theatre to the spectacle of any Berlin '38 diorama.

Mitch I think you mentioned you are working on making flags and I know I'm not as talented as Oliver (ostrien) showing his creative talents with home made banner flags in his recent LAH posts. So I'm all for more K&C flags.

It's a safe bet we will get future Deutschland erwache banners and you can only get so many poses so something different like alternate city names rather than always NSDAP; Adolf Hitler, Berlin or München adds some variety. It seems to be a popular series. You could almost make different city banners every couple of months to help collectors get that massed flag look in their own dioramas. I wonder if Oliver would like a city banner for Hanau?

Some great ideas for flags. I am currently working on some large display flags and things like that but, when I get some time I am going to be making the banners for the marching figures. When I get them done I will post some and, if you think they are OK I will make some for you to your requirements. just cover the postage to Oz.

Thanks Mitch I would be interseted.

Great idea Mitch, Rob. Having these banners with different cities names would be great. I was also thinking of making a silicon mold of this banner and cast my own, but to do so I have to take one banner apart.{eek3}

Regarding my self made banners and stands, I'll see for how many more my casting molds will be OK. Perhaps someone is interested.

Also there're some other structures I'ld like to do. The front of the Luitpold hall is one of them on my list.

Thought I'd add my 2 cents to this thread. I liked K&C's recent early SS additions to the range. If feasible, it would be good to have a group of them holding back a civilian crowd as they try to get a glimpse of Hitler. Would be expensive I know but would really add something to an LAH display.

On the subject of personalities, apart from the excellent suggestions already mentioned, I'd add Von Ribbontrop, Keitel, & Speer (as a single figure this time). Like the idea of an early Himmler with black kepi by the way.

Good choices for additions to the personalities. I'd like to see late war, March 1945, versions of the usual suspects. They'd look interesting skulking around the K&C Reich Chancellery ruins. Speer is a must have.

And perhaps a running (away) Himmler. {sm4}

Goose stepping LAH marchers.The last time these were done by K&C was like......1991 ^&confuse
