Remember this old W.Britians Long Tom set...Many years ago Build A Rama customized it for the Pacific.

Here are some del prado polish lancer that I converted. The figure with the lance pointing straight up is the factory figure and all the others were converted and repainted from that same factory pose.

Preparing a winter Russian diorama about the Alpini retreat, I have to make a lot of modifications and repaints on the Del Prado alpini ( produced for Italy in 2005, I think)...This is one of them...An alpino soldier with his mule....40° below 0 ^&grin

With modifications and repaints you can create some historical uniforms that any manufacturer will never produce. I wish to make a larger diorama about the french " Protectorat" of Morocco 1912. So, I have exchanged with a dealer of soldiers here in Paris some of my del prado napoleonics I didn't like and a couple of KC fallen for some "Hachette" foreign legion ( by KC) and some rare french ww1 colonial troops by "Atlas" that I can use for my future dio. Here below, you can see some foreign legion uniforms and one colonial.Even Thomas gunn didn't do these uniforms in their foreign legion collection...I hope you like.{sm3}
