More Close Encounters of the Best Kind (2 Viewers)

That's a great selection of effects you're using there H, really enhances the scenes.

Thanks Simon. It's just a wee experiment in doing things a little differently.
Some more coming up as soon as I've processed them.

I'm using an effect called "Antique" in HP Image Zone to achieve that "washed-out and slightly out of focus" look in some of these photos, and I think it works in some snaps. I do have Photoshop Elements software loaded onto my laptop, but still have to make time to get to grips with that particular application.

I thought that shaky slightly out of focus look was best achieved by too many beers and late nights.
Regards
Damian

Thanks Rob,
I think some of the WWII special effects work pretty well - and some don't. The photo's do look a little bit different after they're posted cos I'm using a new resize process. Still, if you don't try, then you'll never know....
Bit like those Naps, huh..?? :):):);)

A Nice and Simple Wee Napoleonic Display (Revised).

I reckon it's a bit better balanced now with the slight rearrangement of the figures. Raising the two mounted guys at the bottom of the display by about 1/2" helps as well.
Guess it'll do for now, until such time as Madame decides it needs dusting....:eek:.

Jeff,
I'm going to start off afresh and post those photo's here on this new thread. Won't be posting anything on the old thread in future.
Yeah, I had no intention of getting those camels until I saw them in HK a couple of weeks ago and realised how well they would go with the LRDG/SAS range.

Okay, here's the photo's again - and I'll post some more SOHK when I get the chance.

Cheers

H,

That's a great diorama. I don't know how I missed it the first go around.

Carlos

Hi, where did you get those nice palm trees for your diorama? For how much $?

I am looking for nice cheap palm trees but JG and Buidarama too expensive for me.

Harry,

I like the way you have done this :) I see that you have a reasonable collection of K&C Napoleonics now as well as the Patriot French.

Jeff

Jeff,
I've had those K&C Naps for some time now, as well as the Patriot ones.
The new Patriot Brunswickers really look the bizz, don't they just though. They are an absolute must-have when they become available and will finally end my temporary self-imposed ban on buying more Napoleonics.

Cheers
H
