Trouble is, these are old photo's from my now defunct old thread. I'm recycling them cos I'm still stuck in Nigeria.
For personal security reasons, I can't poke my nose out of this hotel and go howling down dark alleys, or exploring other attractions, like I do in more normal places. Due to my ethnic origins and the fact that I work for an American company, I'm a walking blank cheque book to the gangs of kidnappers here. Not that I worry too much about it, cos if I were to do that, then I might as well not get out of bed in the mornings.
In actual fact, I volunteered for this job cos Port Harcourt simply has to be one of the funniest places I've ever been to, apart from Dyarbakir in SE Turkey - but that's another story. Any city that appears to have a population comprising of 75% hardened criminals and the other 25%, who seem to be religious maniacs much like those seen on American evangelist TV shows, is okay by me.
No offense intended toward any hardened criminals or religious maniacs who happen to be looking in here.
Besides, if they were to make the mistake of holding me to ransom, there could be only one of three outcomes;

a) They offer my company money to take me back.

b) My company offers to pay them to keep me.

c) They offer me money to just go away and stop messing with their heads.

Hmmmm....

Interesting Harry, I know what you meant...I am from a country that been kidnapping is very normal, they even develop a new way less violent to steal money from people, (lighting kidnapping) they will take you in a car to a cash machine and robbery in less than 2 minutes....

This why in Brazil special Sao Paulo we are not allowed to retire more than 300$ after 10pm, cause of this normal problem.
