Since Joe did such a great job on his photo coverage of the major matte manufacturers at the West Coaster, I thought I would include some photos I took of the sets from glossy manufacturers that I brought to the show. Since I am alone, I don't get much chance to leave my room to roam during room trading and I am lucky to get a bathroom break during the actual show. I thank Marc (Beaufighter) for that.

These are sets, including very early sets, from Imperial Production's David Cowie in New Zealand. There were two or three other sellers that also had Imperial at the show, but in smaller numbers. The set in the lower left corner of the first photo is the rarest of the earlier Imperial sets, especially with a photo backdrop; it is Set No. 2 , Waikato Militia.

In the first post, I forgot to mention what a great job Kurt did with his video coverage of the show. It was outstanding and sets a new standard.

Some more Imperial sets.

Nice stuff, sorry I missed you when I came by on Friday and Saturday :(

Here are some of the Bastion Models Boxer Rebellion sets I had at the show. I had sold five sets before I took this picture and ultimately sold four of the other six sets in this photo.

These 25mm (?) figures from Historicos in Chile represent historic Chilean military units whose names you can read on the boxes.

Looks like you had a wide selection of figures for sale Mike. The Boxer Rebellion sets always seem to be popular. Thanks for posting.

I had my usual assortment of new (as opposed to vintage) glossy toy soldiers that I bring to the West Coaster. The Boxer Rebellion is popular, especially from Trophy of Wales, but Andrew Rose's Bastion Models Boxer Rebellion sets are charming. It is becoming very difficult to find either line anymore.

Thank you for your efforts at the London show. I noticed that there were no photos of Hiriart sets at the show. Maybe the guy who brought them there in the past has stopped coming.

Mike

Some sets from Marlborough, Tradition, and Kingcast.

Dare I ask...Any Trophy Mike ?

Cheers

Martyn:)

Unfortunately, No Martyn. Two years ago at the 2011 show, I brought the last of my duplicate Trophy sets and sold them. I had HS2 Highlander vs. Dervish which I sold for $100, WA34 French Foot Artillery which I sold for $150, EQ50 KOSB Maxim Gun which I sold for $100, and a six figure set of Indian Mountain Artillery for $150.

I have about two dozen ACW Trophy sets stored away in their boxes which I will pull out and photograph and post under my collection thread when I get a chance. I may have some duplicates there. I will let you know in case there are any you may be looking for.
