Something simplistically beautiful about the Sabre. Nice and uncluttered.

I wish I were a good enough photographer to show you the interior detail of the cockpit. It has everything from all the gages, to the ejector handle, to the pilot's harness. ^&cool^&cool The quality on the present production wood warbirds is incredibly high.

I wish I could get Kevin to come visit, that would mean he was healthy enough to visit. I'm a bit worried about our old friend.

I will try to take an adequate {sm2} photograph of the cockpit of the Sabre and politely ask Brad to post it for me.:smile2:

As for Kevin, he's just feigning it as an excuse for not completing volumes 3 and 4. Too much self diagnosis. He'll hopefully grace us with his presence at the June show, where I will launch a verbal tirade of abuse on our good friend.

Your Heinkel is just magnificent - yours has the squadron leaders bars on the wing, which one of the two early production Heinkels had (my early production one did not). The clear nose and interior detail on your model are exceptional.^&cool^&cool^&cool^&cool^&cool

The other two are of a recent production B25 Mitchell in the markings of the Doolittle Raider "Ruptured Duck" (with a similar clear nose and interior detail to Marrio's magnificent Heinkel HE111) and a recent production SBD Dauntless.
