Most Haunted (1 Viewer)

By "fans" do you mean people who believe it or people who like to take the mick? I think I've figured out the formula.:D:D

I'm usually up late but with all of the work I've had done to the house I've goton a bit behind! I just like to have a look through here while I've got another window open on youtube, where I'm playing "I bet you haven't got":D
As to most haunted my favourite moment was when they saw some rabbits eyes reflecting in the dark and the "spirit medium" said "some time ghosts show them selves as rabbits" even Evett Fielding said "What"!

Ghosts are big business here in Gettysburg. It almost outdraws the Civil War crowd. They have to regulate the crowds in summer. At first I thought it was harmless fun, but there are way, way too many folks who take it seriously. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but not all opinions are equally valid. Let me say this - THERE ARE NO GHOSTS! None. Once in a blue moon I do watch one of these ghost shows, but only to observe the con artists who put them on. It's pathetic to imagine anyone takes this seriously. The world must be dumbing down to have a ghost show on every channel including the animal channel!:eek: Whew.

How many Ghost Tours THIS year? I counted 3 around 2003 when I last was there in Oct. during the long weekend.

No witches in Salem, Mass. either but next month is going to be BIG there.

It's true that everyone has a right to believe what they want, and that's fine my problem is with the vultures that take advantage! Cold reading is very much a skill but it has no use other than to con someone, so far as I can see. I remember seeing Penn and Teller trying to expose this, in the U.K. you should look for the name Derren Brown.:D

James Randi, "The Amazing Randi" is somebody I admire for debunking the crooks.

The ghost stuff is fun in regards to entertaining old legends or a way to lead you to see old and interesting places. If "believing" in this stuff starts to affect your family (how you raise your kids) or your neighbors (when you vote), that's trouble.

I agree, from an entertainment point of view! The guided walk around old Edinburgh is great fun or some of the old "haunted" castles in Northumberland. But these "cold readers" and in my opinion that includes crystal balls and tarot cards.:D
