SPACEBALLS 2---star/writer Josh Gad commented on the sequel to the 1987 STAR WARS spoof movie, “Without MGM taking me into their Culver prison cells, I can tell you that the draft is done. Everybody who’s read it has been blown away. The process of working on this with and alongside Mel Brooks has been one of the highlights of my career.”
Gad added: “It was sort of a fever dream that this all happened. Mel has been so unbelievably supportive, involved, and electrified by this because it’s the one that surprisingly got away. It’s a dream to be able to finally make the reality prophesied by Yogurt in the first movie happen. I can’t say more than that. I can’t tell you anything beyond [the] process at this point, but I can tell you every hour of every day right now is spent making this project closer and closer to reality — and I think we’re nearing the end zone here.”

UNDER PARIS 2---Berenice Bejo said a sequel to the Netflix killer shark movie is underway, “In September 2025, we will shoot UNDER PARIS 2. It will not be a simple sequel. It is another film, very different…but still, with a shark."

AGENT VENOM---a rumor claims Sony Pictures is developing a movie based on Spider-Man comic book character Eugene "Flash" Thompson.

WICKED---Ariana Grande said she understands fan questioning her being cast as Glinda the Good Witch, “Going off of ‘Side to Side,’ I probably would’ve said the same thing, I probably would’ve said, ‘Why the f***? Kill me. I’ve waited 20 years for this. Kill me.’ I would’ve said that as a fan from the outside, knowing of only ‘7 Rings.’ I’d say, ‘Well, that’s bulls***.’ So, you know, I get it.”

SUPERHEROES---Tom Hanks commented on superhero movie fan fatigue, “I think we are now enjoying the luxury of riches because you can make anything happen on screen. We are being brought back to the concept, ‘Okay, that’s true, but what is the story.’
Without a doubt now, I’ve used this analogy before so I apologize, you can drain Lake Michigan and fill it with cuckoo clocks and form a three-headed dragon that breathes fire and destroys the city of Chicago. You can do that but to what purpose is the end of the day? What’s the story and what’s it going to be saying about us?
I think there was a period of time, and I felt that way too, where we would see these fantastic movies either DC or MCU in order to see these better versions of ourselves. ‘God, I feel like an X-Man sometimes. I’m as confused as Spider-Man. I’m as angry as Batman is and I love my country as much as Captain America. I would like to emulate all those guys.’
I think we’ve been down that road and had probably 20 years, 15 years, to explore that kind of thing and now I think we’re in an evolutionary place of, ‘And the story is what? And the theme is what? And the point of this movie is what?’
That’s a good challenge for any filmmaker, it might just not land in the roundhouse for the industry. The industry often says, ‘Well, this works and it will work again.’ The audience is far ahead of it. They see the familiar and say, ‘I’ve seen that already. What’s next?’ It’s not just eye-popping stuff, it’s what’s the story? Tell me about myself. We’re in new territory.”
Hanks also said he has not met with Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige to discuss appearing in the MCU, “I’m not in their wheelhouse. I’m not against it, I guess...[my] plate is quite full. I’ve got a lot of stuff that I’m dreaming of and trying to make happen,"

SUPERHERO-FOTOR.jpg

GODZILLA MINUS ONE---writer/director Takashi Yamazaki said he once met Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige, “He told me, ‘We’re all having meetings every day to see if we can make it happen like that.’ I think it’s just lip service.” However, Yamazaki later said he received a "great offer" from outside of Japan which he declined in order to direct the new Godzilla movie which was recently announced by Toho.

WHITE MARS---Lucy Hale (TRUTH OR DARE) stars in the sci fi horror movie whose plot is described as, “Set in an isolated Aquila Research Facility in Antarctica, WHITE MARS follows microbiologist Sammie (Lucy Hale), as she fights to save her fellow crew members from a malevolent entity whose sole intention is to extinguish them all.”

PROTECTOR---Milla Jovovich stars in the action movie about a female war hero who must rescue her kidnapped daughter as she is pursued by the military and the police.

HUNGRY---horror movie underway about a group of friends vacationing in the Louisiana swamp and are stalked by a rampaging hippopotamus.

COTTON MALONE---Amazon MGM is developing a tv series based on he Cotton Malone secret agent books.

ATOMIC BLONDE 2---director David Leitch commented on the status of the Netflix sequel to the 2017 movie that starred Charlize Theron, “Everyone’s still trying to unravel rights issues, and it had traveled from Universal to Netflix for a bit. And then now it’s become a little bit of a bottleneck of too many forces working against each other to try and get it made, because it’s such a great piece of IP and would be amazing to go back and revisit that world and that character. So, hopefully we can get it done…”

TRIVIA--singer Ed Ames co-starred as Cherokee Mingo with Fess Parker on the DANIEL BOONE tv series. Ames appeared on THE TONIGHT SHOW WITH JOHNNY CARSON and demonstrated the tomahawk-throwing skills he learned on the tv series. Ames threw a tomahawk across the stage at a cowboy painted on a wood panel---the tomahawk landed in the cowboy's crotch. Carson quipped, "I didn't know you were Jewish!" and "Welcome to Frontier Bris." The audience's laughter lasted four minutes which is said to be the longest-sustained laughter in tv history. Ames said, “That happens to be the longest laugh in the history of television, more so than any other event that occurred on any other show ever. That got the most laugh response and lasted the longest… Four minutes of unbroken laughter.’’
The clip was one of Carson's favorites and always appeared on his yearly highlight show.

STAR TREK---Jeri Ryan commented on if she will return as Seven-of-Nine in a future STAR TREK project, "There has been talk. And there was an idea that was actually pitched to me after PICARD ended, which was not the LEGACY show that I know the fans are asking for, that I want to do.
But it just wasn’t me… It didn’t feel like the right kind of thing… But there has been talk. And if there is one thing I have learned with this franchise it is: never say never. You never know.”
STAR TREK: LEGACY reportedly had Seven-of-Nine as the commander of the Enterprise-G.

RIDLEY SCOTT--Ridley Scott, who turns 87 on November 30, said he is not slowing down, “Are you kidding? I wouldn’t be doing it [if directing felt like work]. It’s my passion and therefore my pleasure. I think it actually keeps me going. I’ve damaged myself with too much tennis. I’ve got dodgy knees and I’m now getting injections in them — I can’t be the old guy staggering around the set because when we were doing Gladiator II we’re in 112 degrees and I have to be out there.”
Scott said he does not believe Quentin Tarantino is retiring after his tenth movie, “I don’t believe it...I don’t f*cking believe that bullsh*t. Shut up and go make another movie. Quentin wrote a few things for my brother. They got along great. I’m not sure I’ve met him."

Captain Kirk battles Mitchell on the planet Delta Vega where Michell used his psychic powers to create a tomb stone which says "James R Kirk", but Kirk's real middle initial is "T" for Tiberius. He made a mistake."

STAR WARS---Simon Kinberg (X-MEN, STAR WARS: REBELS) has signed a deal with Lucasfilm to develop a new STAR WARS movie trilogy. Sources differed on what connection the new trilogy will have, “I heard this will comprise Episodes 10-12 of The Skywalker Saga that began with George Lucas’s 1977 first film...Insiders disputed my intel that Kinberg will continue that storyline, saying this instead will begin a new saga, and sit alongside percolating Star Wars projects with James Mangold, Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, Taika Waititi, and Donald Glover.” A second source said, “The new story is not meant to be a continuation of the Skywalker Saga”, but will focus on “brand new characters and a new story.”
Another source said Daisy Ridley will return in the new trilogy in which Rey is "positioned as the Obi-Wan of the new trilogy".

STAR-WARS-FOTOR.jpg

STAR TREK---an update on the Paramount Pictures reboot movie is that movie will be set before the original tv series which allow entirely new characters to be introduced and not be dependent on legacy characters such as Captain Kirk and Spock. STAR-TREK-2-FOTOR.jpg

DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE---Ryan Reynolds said Nicolas Cage turned down an offer to have a Ghost Rider cameo in the sequel, “We did talk to Nic Cage. We tried to get him, but he was a no-go…. I would’ve loved him.”
He added, “They [Cage & Ben Affleck] were in early drafts. We had versions of that [sequence], but then as it shook out, you’re sort of looking…We’re trying to make the movie responsibly, as well. It’s a big budget. It’s the biggest budget of any of the DEADPOOL movies, but you want to give yourself as much constraint, which really I think facilitates asymmetrical thinking and creativity. If you have too much time or too much money, it usually murders that kind of creativity. So, yeah, you’re shrinking things.”

DEADPPOL-WOLVERINE-2-FOTOR.jpg

THE BATMAN---Hollywood insider Jeff Sneider said a Joker spinoff tv series is underway, “I can confirm that Matt Reeves has big plans for Barry Keoghan’s Joker, who was glimpsed behind bars at the end of THE BATMAN. He added that The Joker tv series will serve “as a bridge between [The] BATMAN sequels."

BATMAN-1-A-FOTOR.jpg

ALIEN---Ridley Scott said he is developing a new ALIEN movie and commented on possible sequels to ALIEN: ROMULUS or ALIEN" COVENANT, “COVENANT is the best one [for a sequel] because it leaves the girl in the [cryo pod] and [Michael Fassbender’s killer android] David has alien eggs and 2,000 colonists hanging around. It’s a perfect beginning.”

BUNNY-MAN---photo released from the superhero starring James Franco, Bella Thorne, Franco Nero and Mike Tyson. The plot involves a multi-millionaire/rapper who wears a bunny mask as he seeks revenge on those who caused his sister's suicide.

It sat on the shelf for too long during the pandemic, and reshoots and rising interest rates took it outside the safety zone of our usually strict financial models.”

TRIVIA---in THE WOLF OF WALL STREET, Martin Scorsese's cameo is providing the voice for John, who is Jordan Belfort's first client to buy Aerotyne IND penny stocks from Belfort.

You’re updated on what’s going on. But I can say that the character will make it to the MCU.”
He said about Scarlet Witch returning, “All I can say is that we’re excited to find out when and how Scarlet Witch can come back.”
He also discussed Miles Morales, “Miles will appear in the third Spider-Verse, which is in production. I hope that, shortly after that, he will be able to enter the MCU in live-action.”
Feige said about the X-Men future, “When we were preparing for AVENGERS: ENDGAME years ago, it was a matter of getting to the grand finale of our narrative, and then we had to start all over again after that. This time, on the road to SECRET WARS, we already know very well what’s going to happen… the story until then and beyond. The X-Men are an important part of that future.”

THE RUNNER---Gal Gadot will star in this movie about a high-powered attorney in London who races to follow the mysterious commands from the caller who kidnapped her son.

DUNE---Denis Villeneuve commented on Quentin Tarantino saying he will not watch Villeneuve's DUNE remake because he is not interested in remakes, “I agree with him that I don’t like this idea of recycling and bringing back old ideas. But where I disagree is that what I did was not a remake. It’s an adaptation of the book. I see this as an original… but we are very different human beings.”

WICKED---Mattel has pulled its doll line based on the movie from stores because the boxes mistakenly have a website for the movie which is really a porn website. ANDOR---Disney+ announced Season 2 will premiere on April 22, 2025.

TRIVIA---Veterans Day movie trivia.
Two Academy Award-winning actors served as crewmen on B-24 Liberator bombers of the 453rd Bombardment Group in World War II. Colonel Jimmy Stewart was a B-24 pilot with the 453rd and Walter Matthau was a radioman/gunner with the 453rd.
Stewart was an avid pilot and enlisted in the US Army Air Force before the war began. He made $6,000 a month as an actor and he made $21 a month as a private. He was a flight instructor in the US, but he was refused combat duty because the USAAF felt an actor's death would be bad more national morale. Stewart was intent on doing his share in the war effort, and he finally persuaded the USAAF to send him to England where one account stated, "...Major Stewart was promoted to Group Operations Officer and sent down the road 9 miles to the 453rd Bomb Group. When Airmen were told they were getting a movie star, they were not impressed. They worried it might be a publicity stunt—a star turn for an actor to fly a few missions and get shipped home pronto. But Stewart was serious, working nights to plan missions for the 453rd, staying in the tower until the last crew had returned. He flew tough missions—more than the commanding officers wanted—and was said to wipe from the board missions he flew so he wouldn’t reach his limit."
Sergeant Matthau, a big Stewart fan, would sneak into mission briefings just to see Stewart "do his Jimmy Stewart". Matthau added, "He was one of the boys. He was marvelous to watch."
Stewart was one of the few servicemen to rise in the ranks from private to colonel in only four years. He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and the French Croix de Guerre.

But it works, still.’ He said, ‘I’m going to go military.’ That’s what Jim said. I said, ‘Gotcha.’ Jim’s was a very good sequel. Three and four became more and more difficult. As it unrolled, I thought, oh God, they’re f*cking it up. And then from that, honestly, I said okay, that’s done.”
Scott also commented on PROMETHEUS, “Years later, I saw this bloody film that they keep playing every night somewhere on the globe, on all the platforms. There’s life in the best, yet. That’s why I sat down with the great writer [Damon] Lindelof, and we reconstructed a resurrection of the era, with PROMETHEUS, and how it evolved from ALIEN. But we were asleep at the wheel. My advisors, who frankly no longer are with me, were asleep at the wheel, certainly. And I partly blame myself, except I was busy making other films. And so it was let go and it shouldn’t have been…”

He’s still badass, but there’s something there that touches you emotionally, too. Creating a character you connect with, but are also super-intimidated by, has been challenging. But exciting.
[The idea was to] find another essential piece of cinema that does what PREY did spiritually – pushing the franchise’s boundaries, letting us root for a hero we rarely get to root for – but in a different way. And that transformed into this big idea of rooting for the Predator.”

Luckinbill said his mother-in-law saved STAR TREK in its early days which allowed him to co-star in THE FINAL FRONTIER, "It's a great irony of some kind or great lesson in life. But here's the thing, we were talking about that the other day, Lucie and I. And she said when they brought this project to Desilu, Lucy thought that STAR TREK was some sort of a comedy with music and people going out on a bond tour from Hollywood, with Hollywood stars. And Gary Morton, her husband at the time, said, 'Lucy, this is about space, and it's good stuff.' And he took his advice. So it was really Gary who influenced Lucy, but she was the executive. And once she made that decision, it was a big one because it was very costly. And it was very brave of her to do that. And she knew a good thing once it happened. She was a very smart lady."
Desilu accountant Ed Holly, who worked closely with Ball, said, "If it were not for Lucy, there would be no STAR TREK today."

Y’all wilding with that and I hate to say that I would not watch and will spend the rest of my days denouncing this franchise that I have loved forever. The new Jedi order better be multicultural with a Black super powerful lead. We ain’t playing yall!"
In 2023, Bowman pulled a fire alarm in the Cannon House Office Building in order to delay a vote. Bowman claimed it was an accident, but a Capitol Police security camera showed Bowman deliberately pulling the fire alarm. THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD---DC Studios co-head James Gunn commented on when the new Batman movie will premiere, "There’s no set timeline for anything. The one thing that I’ve tried to make clear to people from the beginning, in the way that I hope we’re different, is that everything in DC is going to be based on the writers. Until we have a screenplay that I’m totally happy with, that movie is not going to get made, no matter what it is. So, we have been really fortunate with some screenplays.
You know, SUPERGIRL [WOMAN OF TOMORROW] came in and just, wow Ana [Nogueria] did such an amazing job, the LANTERNS pilot came in, and now the whole LANTERNS series came in, and it’s like ‘Wow that’s wonderful, wonderful work.’ And there’s a couple of other things that people don’t know about, a couple of movies and TV shows that are greenlit or near greenlit.
But it’s going to be based always on that, on the story, because at the end of the day if we’re happy with the story that we’re telling, that’s what matters most. And once The Brave and the Bold gets to that point, then we’ll make the movie.”

NOSFERATU---the vampire remake movie starring Bill Skarsgard, Nicholas Hoult, Lily-Rose Depp and Willem Dafoe received an R-rating for “bloody violent content, graphic nudity and some sexual content”.

SNOW-WHITE-FOTOR.jpg

TROPIC THUNDER---Ben Stiller doubts the 2008 comedy movie starring Stiller and Robert Downey, Jr. could be made today, “Obviously, in this environment, edgier comedy is just harder to do. Definitely not at the scale we made it at, too, in terms of the economics of the business. I think even at the time we were fortunate to get it made, and I credit that, actually, to Steven Spielberg and DreamWorks. He read it and was like, ‘Alright, let’s make this thing.’ It’s a very inside movie when you think about it. But yeah, the idea of Robert playing that character who’s playing an African American character, I mean, incredibly dicey. Even at the time, of course, it was dicey too. The only reason we attempted it was I felt like the joke was very clear in terms of who that joke was on — actors trying to do anything to win awards. But now, in this environment, I don’t even know if I would have ventured to do it, to tell you the truth. I’m being honest.”

TROPIC-THUNDER-FOTOR.jpg

WOLFS---director Jon Watts commented on a possible sequel to the Apple TV+ movie starring George Clooney and Brad Pitt, "I showed Apple my final cut of WOLFS early this year. They were extremely enthusiastic about it and immediately commissioned me to start writing a sequel. But their last minute shift from a promised wide theatrical release to a streaming release was a total surprise and made without any explanation or discussion.
I wasn’t even told about it until less than a week before they announced it to the world. I was completely shocked and asked them to please not include the news that I was writing a sequel. They ignored my request and announced it in their press release anyway, seemingly to create a positive spin to their streaming pivot. And so I quietly returned the money they gave me for the sequel.
I didn’t want to talk about it because I was proud of the film and didn’t want to generate any unnecessary negative press. I loved working with Brad and George (and Amy and Austin and Poorna and Zlatko) and would happily do it again. But the truth is that Apple didn’t cancel the WOLFS sequel, I did, because I no longer trusted them as a creative partner."

MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE---Idris Elba is in talks to play Man-at-Arms in the movie based on the Mattel toy line.

ALIEN---Michael Fassbender commented on if he might return to the sci fi horror franchise, "I don't really think about either, to be honest. I'm concentrating on this [THE AGENCY], and I don't look into the future that much. I had a great time doing both. I was very lucky, I feel, to work with Ridley Scott. I love him; we did 3 films together.
If he wants to go for another one, I'm always there to work with him. He's a master, but I don't really think about it."

MIGHTY MOUSE---Paramount Animation is developing a movie based on the mouse superhero.

SNOW WHITE---a British tabloid's insider source said Disney almost fired Rachel Zegler in 2022 during filming because of her caustic comments, "They would love to be able to tell her to stop talking, but it is simply too late. They had talked about removing Rachel from the role several times when it was shooting in 2022."
The source added, "She is a loose cannon and caused issues during the production because she didn’t agree with how the film plot strayed from the classic movie's plot. She read the script. If she didn’t like it then she should have not taken it. It wasn’t until after the film was wrapped that she really started creating drama.
She has been a nightmare but there is nothing they can do to control what she says. Everyone is well-aware of how difficult she is."
The source said Disney hopes Zegler's controversial comments will help save the movie which has fared poorly with test audiences, "Right now, it is way too late to shelve the film. As much as people think that her recent comments and controversies will hurt the film, it is not likely the case. If anything, it generates more publicity and attention to the film, which leads to increased ticket sales...and it could really sell with anyone in the lead."
FORBES said SNOW WHITE's budget is $269.4 million and needs to make $600 million just to break even.

SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE 2---the movie/tv sequel rights to the Academy Award-winning movie were bought by the Bridge7 production company.

DCU---DC Studios co-head James Gunn commented on the DCU, “Everything’s going to be totally different. One of the things I love about DC Comics is that they’ve always been able to tell different stories in different ways.
They’ve told stories that were more family-orientated, stories that were more adult-orientated, dark stories, light stories. I think for us, we just want to tell a bunch of different stories. A lot of those different stories are going to be in the DCU.
We have something that’s relatively serious like Superman and then something that’s relatively comedic like Peacemaker all in the same universe. Something very adult like Peacemaker [and] something pretty family-friendly like Superman.
I think that to be able to tell different kinds of stories is kind of what makes things fun. One of the things I’ve gotten a little sick of is all these stories being relatively the same. I’m trying to step outside of that. We at DC are trying to step outside of that.”

MCU---Robert Pattinson reportedly met recently with Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige to discuss appearing in a Marvel movie.

THE KARATE KID: LEGENDS---Ralph Macchio said the upcoming LEGENDS sequel won't be last sequel, “I’m not allowed to say a lot about it, except another awesome chapter is on its way. Ben Wang is a young kid in the show, he’s very exciting to watch. And working with Jackie [Chan], he’s a legend. They found, you know, it’s its own story in the vast universe, you know, so it’s another chapter in a different area that connects the mythology of where it all began. And fortunately, I was the guy that was there when it all began.“

MOVIES---Academy Award-winning director Ang Lee commented on today's movie industry, “I haven’t made a movie for six years, and I don’t know where to start again. Cinema needs a drastic change. If we continue down the same path, it will be a dead end. We need something that will make audiences marvel again.
Movie theaters were our temples, where we were collectively transported. But today, asking someone to put down their smartphone is like asking them to climb Everest barefoot.”

TRIVIA---Mel Brooks's SPACEBALLS was a spoof of George Lucas' STAR WARS. Lucas liked the script so much, he allowed Brooks to have a Millennium Falcon cameo parked at the Space Diner, and ILM did some of the movie's special effects. However, Brooks said Lucas did not want Brooks to release SPACEBALLS toys and other merchandising, "[Lucas] said, 'Your [action figures] are going to look like mine.' I said OK." Later, Lucas sent a note to Brooks saying he "was afraid [he] would bust something from laughing".

STAR WARS---Denis Villeneuve explained why he will not direct a STAR WARS movie, “I was the target audience. I was 10 years old. It went to my brain like a silver bullet. I became obsessed with STAR WARS. I mean, THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK is the movie that I anticipated the most in my life. I saw the movie a billion times onscreen. I was traumatized by THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK. I adore STAR WARS.”
He continued, “It’s a long story. I was 15 years old, and my best friend and I wanted to take a cab and go to L.A. and talk to George Lucas – we were so angry! Still today, the Ewoks. It turned out to be a comedy for kids… STAR WARS became crystallized in its own mythology, very dogmatic, it seemed like a recipe, no more surprises. So I’m not dreaming to do a STAR WARS because it feels like code is very codified.”

GLADIATOR III---Ridley Scott said the sequel's $320 million worldwide box office versus its $350 million (Budget and marketing) means a new sequel is likely, “Given the performance in the rest of the world we’ve seen yesterday, there’s certainly going to be a GLADIATOR III.”

EDWARD SCISSORHANDS---Tim Burton commented on if he would like to direct a sequel to the 1990 movie starring Johnny Depp, “There are certain films I don’t want to make a sequel to. I didn’t want to make a sequel to that because it felt like a one-off thing. I didn’t want to have a sequel for THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS because it also felt like a one-off thing. Certain things are best left on their own, and that, for me, is one of them.”
Burton also commented on reuniting with Depp, "Well, I’m sure there will be. I never feel like, oh, I’m going to use this and that actor. It usually has to be based on the project I’m working on. That’s what film is all about. It’s collaboration and bouncing ideas off the people around you.”

JANE GOODALL---primatologist Jane Goodall said Disney and Leonardo DiCaprio's Appian Way Productions are developing a biomovie based on her life, “They’re making a film about me with an actress. I’ve seen the first draft of the script and made a lot of comments.”

ROMY AND MICHELE'S HIGH SCHOOL REUNION---Mia Sorvino commented on the status of the sequel, “They’ve done his deal, they’ve done Lisa [Kudrow] and my deals as executive producers. [Original screenwriter Robin Schiff] has written multiple drafts of an amazing funny script, which checks all the boxes for all the fans.”
She added, “And they’re just going back and forth, tweaking things here and there, and [there are] rumors of shooting it second quarter next year. But, it’s not officially greenlit, so I can’t say that it’s officially greenlit.”

EXCALIBUR---a rumor claims Marvel Studios is developing an EXCALIBUR tv series.

TRIVIA---character actor Alex Henteloff appeared in two 1986 movies in which someone became wealthy by developing an exotic metal composite. In STAR TREK IV: THE VOYAGE HOME, Henteloff played Dr. Nichols, Plexicorp plant manager, who became "rich beyond the dreams of avarice" when Enterprise Chief Engineer Montgomery Scott gave him the formula for transparent aluminum. In 52 PICK-UP, Henteloff played Los Angeles city employee Dan Lowenthal, whose co-worker, Barbara Mitchell (Ann-Margret), is running for city council and is kidnapped for ransom because she is married to Harry Mitchell (Roy Scheider), who became wealthy with NASA and military contracts after he developed a process which bonded titanium to steel.

CREATURE COMMANDOS---the DC superhero animated tv series had impressive reviews with a Rotten Tomatoes score of 100% and a Metacritics score of 80/100.

LUCKY---Anya Taylor-Joy will star in the Apple TV+ crime series based on the book. GLIMPSES OF THE MOON---Francis Ford Coppola said his next movie will be "a 30s-style strange musical” based on the 1922 Edith Wharton novel.

SUPERMAN & LOIS---co-star Wole Parks commented on rumors that Warner Bros. cancelled SUPERMAN & LOIS to remove any competition for James Gunn's upcoming Superman movies, "That's a great question. I'm going to tell you. I know as much as you do. It's all rumors of speculation. Do I believe it? Sure, of course, why not? Would DC want a clean slate? James Gunn has this very big Superman project coming out, and it seems like everything right now is a universe. You look at HBO and, I just watched THE PENGUIN, which was amazing and that show is based on Matt Reeves' THE BATMAN universe and, then THE BATMAN 2, whenever that comes out. So it seems like very much they're like, 'We want these worlds' and, and they were like, 'Look, we're kind of maybe tired of the CW version of it,' Regardless of the quality of the show. These decisions [are] well above my pay grade. I have no control over it. Like I said, did it suck? Would we have like to go at least another season or two more? Of course, but you live with what you what you get."

MAD MAX---director Justin Kurzel (ASSASSIN'S CREED) said he has an idea for a Mad Max prequel and wants to talk to George Miller about it, "...I’ve always been curious about what happened before the first Mad Max — what was that world with the Nightrider, pre-Mad Max? I’ve always been very curious about that and very tempted to talk to George about the possibility of a world that is pre-Mad Max 1 and what that is. That’s been one that I’ve always been really curious about because it was such an influential film in my time… It’s an amazing franchise, but I’ve always been curious about those moments before that first one because it’s set up so richly. And it’s such a great time in Australia, too, that period.”

BEL-AIR---Peacock renewed the series for Season 4 which will be the last season.
