WEDNESDAY---trailer released for season 2, Part 2.

JAMES BOND---movie insiders claim Amazon head Jeff Bezos wants his wife, Lauren Sanchez, to have a "prominent" role as a Bond Girl in the new Denis Villeneuve James Bond movie. An insider source claims, “He’s obsessed. This isn’t just fantasy casting — Jeff wants her on screen, period.”
Another "well-placed source close to production" said a candidate to be the new James Bond is Scott Rose-Marsh (WOLVES OF WAR), who was, “brought in sometime in late June to read sides from 1995’s GOLDENEYE, presumably for just-hired director Denis Villeneuve”. Rose-Marsh was told as the audition began, “Don’t impersonate a previous Bond.”

WORLD WAR Z 2---Paramount Pictures has resurrected the cancelled sequel for the Brad Pitt zombie movie because Piit's F1 was a big box office hit earning $575 million worldwide.

STAR TREK---Paramount Pictures is reportedly developing two STAR TREK movies. One will be directed by Toby Haynes (ANDOR) and the second movie will be produced by JJ Abrams and features Captain Kirk, Spock and the rest of the starship Enterprise crew.

RESIDENT EVIL---Zack Cregger will reportedly be paid $20 million to direct the movie based on the video game.

SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY---photo released of The Punisher's (Jon Bernthal) van.

RED SONJA---the reboot movie has a Rotten Tomatoes critics score of 59% based on 27 critics reviews.

JASON BOURNE--NBCUniversal bought the rights to Robert Ludlum's Jason Bourne novels after “a massive nine-figure proposal."

NOBODY 2---the Bob Odenkirk sequel has a Rotten Tomatoes critics score of 83% based on 45 critics reviews. Odenkirk commented on if he would return for new sequels, “It would be about the journey of the family and the tensions that change as you move from one chapter to the next. You tell yourself, ‘This is going to be it now. I’m going to enjoy this chapter of my life, and I’m going to be carefree.’ But then you find that it has just as many frustrations and shortcomings as the last chapter.”

TRIVIA---in 2023, a team of paleontologists led by Giovanni Mussini discovered fossils of a prehistoric worm in the Grand Canyon from the Cambrian Period over 500 million years ago. It was a priapulid, also referred to as "penis worm" and "cactus worm". Because it had hundreds of branching teeth and the size of the fossil, the paleontologists named it Kraytdraco spectatus after the Krayt dragon, whose skeleton was first seen in the original STAR WARS and the live version was first seen in THE MANDALORIAN.

AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY---an insider gave information on Captain America (Chris Evans) in the sequel, "When Steve went back in time to go live with Peggy, he created the Incursions, so now Doom wants him dead."

RESIDENT EVIL---synopsis released for the Zach Cregger horror movie based on the video game, "Bryan (Austin Abrams), a laid-back organ courier, is sent on a late-night delivery to Raccoon City General Hospital. En route through a snowy mountain road, he accidentally hits a strange woman with his car. She survives—but something is very wrong. As he tries to help, Bryan stumbles into a full-blown outbreak involving horrifying tentacle-based mutations and bio-engineered monstrosities."

INITIATIVE---the MR. AND MRS. SMITH team of Angelina Jolie and director Doug Liman will reunite for the spy movie whose plot is described as, "...a rogue master spy named Bright who works outside the lines (because sometimes you need someone bad to bring down people who are even worse, as the movies have taught us). When a new agent named Charlie joins Bright’s team, he soon finds himself in situations where he isn’t sure whether his new boss is trying to kill him or simply is willing to do whatever is necessary to protect the free world."

HOME ALONE---director Chris Columbus commented on a possible reboot of the classic Christmas movie, “I think HOME ALONE really exists as, not at this timepiece, but it was this very special moment, and you can’t really recapture that. I think it’s a mistake to try to go back and recapture something we did 35 years ago. I think it should be left alone.”

VICIOUS---Dakota Fanning will star in the horror movie whose synopsis says, "When Polly (Dakota Fanning) receives a mysterious Box from an unexpected late-night visitor, it comes with a simple instruction: place three things inside: something you need, something you hate, and something you love. CLOSE PERSONAL FRIENDS---Brie Larson, Lilly Collins, Jack Quaid and Henry Golding star in the Amazon MGM movie whose plot is described as, “one couple that meets and befriends a celebrity couple while on a trip to Santa Barbara. Personal lines get crossed, among other things, and awkward hilarity ensues.”

JEHANNE D'ARC---Isla Johnston (INVASION) is in talks to star in the Baz Luhrmann Joan of Arc biomovie.

TRIVIA---character actor John Zaremba appeared in THE TWILIGHT ZONE episode "No Time Like the Past" in which a man (Dana Andrews) uses a time machine to travel back in time to assassinate Adolf Hitler and prevent other deadly events. Zaremba later played Dr. Raymond Swain in Irwin Allen's sci fi tv series THE TIME TUNNEL in which two scientists test an experimental time machine and travel back in time.

THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE HUNT FOR GOLLUM----Ian McKellen commented on the sequel, "I hear there’s going to be another movie set in Middle-earth, and it’s going to start filming in May. It’s going to be directed by Gollum, and it’s all about Gollum. I’ll tell you two secrets about the casting: There’s a character in the movie called Frodo, and there’s a character in the movie called Gandalf. Apart from that, my lips are sealed.”
Co-writer Philippa Boyens commented on if Viggo Mortensen will return, “Honestly, that’s entirely going to be up to Viggo, collaboratively and we are at a very early stage. I’ve spoken to Viggo, Andy [Serkis] has spoken to him, Peter [Jackson] has spoken to him, we’ve all spoken to each other and honestly, I cannot imagine anyone else playing Aragorn, but it will be completely and entirely up to Viggo.“
She added, “I know Andy wants to work with him, but also, we don’t see this as like, using AI, this is about a digital make-up, and whether Viggo does it or will entirely depends on how good the script is. And he doesn’t have a script yet. So to be fair to Viggo, let’s see if we write a good enough role and that he can find enough in it to see that it’s a performance he wants to take on. After that, it’ll be between Viggo and Andy of how that is achieved.“

SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY---a film set poster with "symbiote" and its definition led to fan speculation that Venom might be in the sequel.

AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY---it was confirmed that Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) will be in the sequel.

MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE---Kristin Wigg will provide the voice for Roboto in the live-action movie.

SCARY MOVIE 6---Regina Hall and Anna Faris are returning for the latest movie in the comedy horror movie franchise.

SNOW WHITE---Gal Gadot denied she had a strained relationship with co-star Rachel Zegler and commented on the movie's failure, "Working alongside Rachel Zegler. We laughed and we talked, we had fun. I was positive the movie was going to be a huge hit. And then Oct. 7 happened, and what happened all over in different industries, not just Hollywood, there was a lot of pressure put on celebrities, actors, creators to post against Israel. And it happened.
I can always explain and try to give people in the world context about the situation and the reality in Israel, and I always do that. But at the end, people make up their own minds. And I was disappointed that the movie was incredibly affected by all of that and that it didn’t do well at the box office. But it is what it is, you win some, you lose some.”
Gadot also was asked if she is a good actress, “I think I’m solid, I’m alright.”

X-MEN---Beau DeMayo (X-MEN '97) criticized Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige for the new live-action movie, “Under my leadership and vision, my team and I created a project that resonated with the MCU’s core audience in a way that Kevin and his Parliament have so far failed to do in over a decade. Instead of looking at what my team and I did and learning to replicate our focus on canon and deep character work, they smeared me, tactically threatened the crew not to speak out while continuing to still abuse them, and have done everything to act like #xmen97 wasn’t a hit.
Remember, I was told by a TOP exec at Marvel last year that Kevin resented my work and the show because FANS like you were using it as a referendum on how Kevin’s MCU is failing. I was told by several artists on the show that they had wanted to post or include blurbs commending me for my leadership and vision and all I poured into the show, only for Marvel to censor or reprimand them.’
All of this is ego, and the X-men have no room for ego. Their legacy and the investment so many of us made into it is what’s the priority, not making your mark. I have yet to see anything from Kevin and Marvel that shows that they respect how much fans have invested in these characters. Now, will this change? I hope so. “

CLUE---the board game movie starring Tim Curry, Madeline Kahn, Christopher Lloyd, Eileen Brennan and Lesley Ann Warren will return to theaters on August 26-28 for its 40th anniversary. Each night will have a different ending.

THE LAST GUARDIAN---Sony Pictures is reportedly developing a movie based on the video game.

TRIVIA---the role of DIE HARD villain Hans Gruber was offered to Sam Neill, but Neill turned it down and the role went to Alan Rickman, who almost turned the role down. EMPIRE magazine ranked Gruber as #4 on in its "Greatest Movie Villains" and the American Film Institute has Gruber as #46 in its list of top 100 movie villains.

The role of DIE HARD villain Hans Gruber was offered to Sam Neill, but Neill turned it down.

Alan Rickman reluctantly accepted the role of Hans Gruber, who is ranked as one of the top movie villains of all time.

WEAPONS 2---Amy Madigan commented on reports of a prequel movie about Gladys, “It’s not that I discount it, but in this business, nothing’s real till it’s real. I just had such a great time working with Zach [Cregger] and being inside that brain of his. That’s really the gift of how the movie came out. The other stuff has to do with all sorts of conversations that I would never be privy in and business things like that. But, you know, I love Gladys, so I’ll leave it at that.”

BASIC INSTINCT---Sharon Stone commented on reports she will return for the Joe Eszterhas reboot by referring to her return in the 2006 sequel BASIC INSTINCT 2, "If it goes the way the one I was in went, then I would just say I do not know why you would do it… Go ahead. Good f—ing luck!”

MARVEL ZOMBIES---synopsis and cast released for the Disney+ animated miniseries, “After the Avengers are overtaken by a zombie plague, a desperate group of survivors discover the key to bringing an end to the super-powered undead, racing across a dystopian landscape and risking life and limb to save their world.” The cast includes Elizabeth Olsen, Wyatt Russell, Florence Pugh, David Harbour, Paul Rudd, Hailee Steinfeld, Simu Li, Tessa Thompson and Todd Williams. Williams will be the voice for Blade which led to fan speculation that he will star in the BLADE reboot movie instead of Mahershala Ali.

HONEYMOON---Kevin Costner and Jake Gyllenhaal star in the Amazon MGM Studios movie whose synopsis says, “The emotional and hilarious story of hard-living Todd Cartwright who falls in love with Tammy Everett, a woman who literally saves Todd from himself. But Tammy’s suspicious, overly-protective father, Harry, does everything he can to crush the relationship. Todd is not about to give up the greatest thing that’s ever happened to him and goes to war with Harry. But when the unthinkable happens, the men dive into a physical and emotionally tailspin that threatens to consume them both. Todd decides to go on the honeymoon alone and return to his destructive ways only to find Harry at the airport with Tami’s ashes which Harry intends to spread on the island. WORLD WAR II---Ben Stiller will direct an untitled World War II movie whose plot “tells the true story of a downed airman in occupied France and how he got involved with the French Resistance.”

EXTRACTION---Natalie Dormer (GAME OF THRONES) will co-star with Omar Syd and Boyd Holbrook in the tv spinoff.

MOON KNIGHT---composer Hesham Nazih commented on a possible Season 2, “That’s the million-dollar question. No one knows. Not even Mohamed Diab. No one ever talked about this. No one knows. If you ask anyone, which I did, I only get, ‘No one knows.’”

TRIVIA---Irwin Allen's disaster movie THE SWARM had an all-star cast of Michael Caine, Henry Fonda, Katharine Ross, Richard Widmark, Olivia de Havilland, Richard Chamberlain, Fred MacMurray, Jose Ferrer and Slim Pickens.
Michael Caine played Dr. Bradford Crane, who leads a scientific and military team to prevent a giant swarm of deadly African killer bees from wreaking havoc in Texas. Caine said during filming, he ate the small yellow spots left by the bees on his clothes because he thought they were honey, but he found out later the yellow spots were really bee feces.

ONE SECOND LATER---Josh Holloway (YELLOWSTONE, LOST) will star in the sci fi movie based on the novel about a history professor and ex-Army officer who leads a community trying to survive in Black Mountain, North Carolina after an EMP destroys all modern electronics.

ARCHIE---movie insider Jeff Sneider said a Universal Studios movie is underway based on an Archie comic book, “Sources say the film will be inspired, in part, by the comic book Archie: The Married Life, which presents Archie with two alternate futures — one in which he marries girl-next-door Betty Cooper, and one where he marries sexy heiress Veronica Lodge.” The writer is Tom King (SUPERGIRL) and the co-producers are Phil Lord and Chris Miller.
Also, Disney+ is developing a zombie tv series based on the comic book AFTERLIFE WITH ARCHIE.

ALIEN: EARTH---the spinoff series had an impressive 9.8 million views globally in its first six days.

DOCTOR WHO---producer Jane Tranter commented on the hiring of Ncuti Gatwa and Jodie Whitaker, whose casting had mixed reactions with fans, “I like the fact DOCTOR WHO can touch on sensitive issues and do it in an entertaining and engaging way, but that’s how Russell T. Davies writes. I also don’t see the casting of Jodie Whittaker as the first female Doctor or casting Ncuti Gatwa as the first Black Doctor as some bold step in the culture wars. It’s simply as it should be.”
Gatwa left the tv show because he said he was, “getting old,” and his "body was tired.” Whittaker reportedly left to spend more time with her family.

TRIVIA---early in his career, three-time Academy Award-winner Jack Nicholson appeared in two episodes of THE ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW. In "Opie Finds a Baby", Nicholson played a man who, with his wife, left their baby outside of Sheriff Andy Taylor's office, but then they change their minds and return to get the baby back. In "Aunt Bee: Juror", Nicholson played a man who was on trial for stealing, and Aunt Bee was the only juror who thought he was innocent.

DEATH BY LIGHTNING---Netflix four-part miniseries starring Michael Shannon about President James Garfield and his assassin, Charles Guiteau.

THE SURVIVAL LIST---Blake Lively will star in the romantic comedy movie about a female tv producer and a survival expert who are shipwrecked and stranded on a deserted island where she discovers the survival expert is a phony.

WAR---HBO tv series starring Dominic West and Sienna Miller in which a scandalous divorce of a tech mogul and his international actress wife involve London's top two law firms.

WALT DISNEY---inside sources say Walt Disney Studios is trying to develop movies "...that will bring young men back to the brand in a meaningful way." Disney is looking to attract Gen Z males (13-28 years old) with more "“splashy global adventures and treasure hunts” movies as young males are turning away from superhero and STAR WARS movies in large numbers. One rival studio executive commented on Disney's goal of more young male-oriented movies, “I never thought I’d say it, but it looks like Disney is going to have to start trying.”

SPAWN OF THE LIVING DEAD---synopsis released for the zombie movie starring Casper Van Dien, Kane Hodder and Bill Moseley, "The 1968 zombie plague is ending. The living dead, eaters of human flesh who are lurking in the Evans City Cemetery, are being gunned down and burned by an armed posse led by Sheriff Ken Johnson and Deputy Jeff Sanders. Dr. Harold Ormsby is also on the scene with a team of white-coated laboratory assistants, collecting zombie specimens by shooting them with immobilizing darts, the same way wild animals are captured for zoos. Their mission is to carry out experiments on the undead in hopes of finding out what caused the plague and how it can be cured."

ORGANISM 46-B THE UNSEEN---synopsis released for the sci fi horror movie, "Trapped beneath four kilometers of Antarctic ice, scientists awaken an ancient predator, a shape-shifting horror who mimics its prey and controls the mind. Paranoia sets in, survival is now not just about escape… but knowing who to trust."

TRIVIA---John Travolta's first movie role was a cult member in the 1975 Satanic cult movie THE DEVIL'S RAIN starring Ernest Borgnine, William Shatner, Eddie Albert, Tom Skerritt, Keenan Wynn and Ida lupino. Satanist Anton LaVey was the technical advisor and had a minor roll in the movie.
During filming, co-star Joan Prather gave Travolta a copy of the book DIANETICS by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard which led to Travolta joining the Church of Scientology.

ANDOR---Ewan McGregor said he wants to return as Obi-Wan Kenobi if there is a Season 3, “I got really excited. I was thinking, ‘I think I’m in this timeline. I think I could be in Season 3.’ I was super excited, and then I realized, ‘Oh no.’ So anyway, maybe if there was, I could have squeezed in there, if only. There’s always a chance that maybe there’s a story that’s happening at the same time where it kind of crosses over. So there’s always a chance if Disney is listening — hypothetically, hypothetically. Come on, Disney.”

THE MANDALORIAN---Katee Sackhoff commented on playing Bo-Katan in THE MANDALORIAN, “I lost all of my confidence after MANDALORIAN, all of it. I’ve always played two steps removed from myself, in a sense. It always felt grounded in some part of my belly, of who I was.
Bo-Katan is nowhere near who I am as a human being. Her life, what she wants – I didn’t understand her. As much as I understood her, I never felt her in my stomach. I never identified with her. I didn’t know how to find her.
My style of acting has always just been, ‘Your first instinct is the right instinct. Do that. Play the reality of the situation.’ And I’ve never really played a character.
It broke me. It just broke me. I started doubting everything about myself. I’m not a strong auditioner on tape, and I was having to put myself on tape. I wasn’t booking anything. And for three years, I basically didn’t work, and it just destroyed my confidence.”
Sackhoff said he resurrected her career by hiring a new manager and a new acting coach.

STAR TREK: YEAR ONE---Ethan Peck commented about returning as Spock for the proposed tv series about the early adventures of Capt. James T. Kirk, “I think it would be really wonderful. I will stay playing this character for as long as I’m invited, for the most part, because I just think it’s such an amazing thing to be a part of. The messaging is so incredible, and this character has so much integrity. He’s such a noble person, so I love portraying him.”

JAMES BOND---Austin Butler commented on speculation he might reunite with Denis Villeneuve to be the new James Bond, “No calls as far as that goes, but I love that man [Villeneuve]. Would I play James Bond? I don’t think that would be a good idea. Because I’m an American. I could do an accent but I think that would be kind of sacrilegious.”

THE ROCKETEER---after the reboot THE RETURN OF THE ROCKETEER starring David Oyelowo was cancelled, Billy Campbell commented on another reboot of the 1991 movie based on the Dave Stevens comic book that also starred Jennifer Connelly, Timothy Dalton and Alan Arkin, “I would love to [return]. That film was such a seminal moment in my life, and I loved it so much. I loved everything about it. I made lifelong friendships. I was friends with Alan to the day he died. Friends with Dave Stevens, who also is gone.
I can’t say enough about it, so I’m all for a reboot if someone who also loves the property as much as I love it, and is willing to honor Dave’s vision. I’m all for a reboot.
Obviously, I’m too long in the tooth. Maybe they give me a cameo or something, I don’t know, but I’d love to see it, whether I was in it or not. More importantly, I’d love to see it treated well and treated respectfully.”

I PLAY ROCKY---Anthony Ippolito (THE OFFER) will play Sylvester Stallone in the Peter Farrelly/Amazon MGM Studios movie about the making of ROCKY. The synopsis says, “A struggling actor with a partially paralyzed face and a speech impediment writes a script that a big movie studio wants to buy, but he refuses to sell it unless he gets to play the lead. TERMINATOR 3: RISE OF THE MACHINES---Ridley Scott turned down the offer to direct the sequel, "I'm proud about this. I turned down a $20m fee. See, I can't be bought, dude. Someone said: "Ask what Arnie gets." I thought: "I'll try it out." I said: "I want what Arnie gets." When they said yes, I thought: "F--k me." But I couldn't do it. It's not my thing. It's like doing a Bond movie. The essence of a Bond movie is fun and camp. Terminator is pure comic strip. I would try to make it real. That's why they've never asked me to do a Bond movie, because I could f--k it up."

THE TERMINAL LIST---producer David DiGilio commented on the future of the franchise starring Chris Pratt and Taylor Kitsch, “We decided we’re not just going to make a new show in DARK WOLF. We decided we’re going to make a new way to make shows. I refer to it as team television, and it’s a very time-intensive process because everyone gets a say.
One of the great things about Taylor and Chris is that they are actors who are always challenging the material. So when you have people like that, you want to try to keep them involved in as many shows as possible.
DARK WOLF was really built not just as a first spinoff, but as a way to bridge the Jack Carr cinematic universe… We had this opportunity to not just give the fans of TERMINAL LIST Season 1 a deeper dive on Ben, but to also really set up these fan-favorite characters like Raife Hastings, Mo Farooq, Jules Landry [for TERMINAL LIST Season 2].
They appear in book two, TRUE BELIEVER [the basis for the main show’s second season], but they are set up primarily through backstory in that book. And it’s very hard to do back story on television.
We realized we had an opportunity to bring these characters into Ben’s 2015 origin story, and then have them return later after creating familiarity and a real emotional connection to them.
The surprise to us was that it wasn’t just the characters from the books that we love so much and wanted to bring back; there are other characters from Dark Wolf’s incredible ensemble who will make appearances as well.”

BATMAN---James Gunn replied to a fan question if Chris Pratt will play Batman, “As Batman? No. As something else? Yes. Chris Pratt’s one of my best friends. We talk all the time. He’s a great guy, and he would love to do something at DC. I would love for him to do something at DC.”

IT HAPPENED ONE SUMMER---Tyler Hoechlin and Nina Dobrev will reportedly star in the movie based on the novel. The plot is described as, "Piper Bellinger, a glamorous Los Angeles socialite whose life unravels after a viral mishap. Her wealthy family cuts her off, and she moves to a small fishing town. She must renovate her late father’s dive bar or lose everything. In Westport, she clashes with Brendan, a rugged sea captain who shows no patience for influencers."

INGROUND---John Cho and Alexandra Daddario will star in the horror movie whose synopsis says, “A recently divorced father attempts to reconnect with his young son by building a swimming pool in his backyard that they can both enjoy over the course of a long, hot summer. What begins as an exciting project turns into a terrifying nightmare."

TRIVIA---the 1978 SUPERMAN starred Christopher Reeve, Marlon Brando and Gene Hackman. The original script had Lex Luthor (Gene Hackman) encountering Telly Savalas playing NYPD Lieutenant Detective Theo Kojak from the hit tv series KOJAK in a railway station. Kojak offered Luthor a lollipop and asked him the tv show's classic line, "Who loves ya, baby?" Director Richard Donner removed the scene from the script.
Ironically, when KOJAK was originally being cast, Marlon Brando was the top candidate to play Kojak, but CBS/Universal chose Savalas over Brando because Brando wanted too much money and he had a reputation for being difficult.

STAR WARS: STARFIGHTER---Lucasfilm posted a photo of Ryan Gosling and Flynn Gray to announce STARFIGHTER has started filming in England. The cast also includes Matt Smith, Mia Goth and Amy Adams. One source said Gosling's wife, Eva Mendes, will play the wife of Gosling's character.

BATTLE OF BRITAIN---Ridley Scott said his next movie is about World War II's Battle of Britain in which the German Luftwaffe attempted to destroy the RAF as a prelude to Operation Sea Lion, the German invasion of England. Scott said that early in his career, he filmed Hovis bread tv commercials in Halifax which is where he might film the Battle of Britain movie, "I did five Hovis commercials. They were all classics. The most famous is the boy walking up the hill. The first one I shot up near Halifax, in a mining town. Oddly enough, I might go back up there to do my next movie, which is a war movie [Battle of Britain], so I’m well versed in the area." The writer is Joe Penhall (MINDHUNTER).
Also, Scott said GLADIATOR III is "in process".

KILLING SATOSHI---Casey Affleck and Pete Davidson will star in the Doug Liman movie about the identity of the mysterious "Satoshi Nakamoto", creator of the Bitcoin and worth about $64 billion.. The plot involves “political intrigue, high-tech espionage and a race against time as forces across the globe – spanning governments, Wall Street and Silicon Valley – wage an all-out battle for control.”

CALL OF DUTY---Paramount Pictures is in negotiations to buy the movie rights to the video game franchise.

BATMAN---Alan Ritchson commented on if he will play Batman, "Well, it’s not rumor that James Gunn is a fan. He said it himself. And am I a fan of James Gunn? Absolutely. I don’t want to mislead people. Words have been exchanged about Batman. But I strongly don’t think that Batman is in my future. I do think there is something in my future with DC. And I would like that to remain true.”

BABIES---Seth Rogen and Anna Kendrick will star in the comedy movie whose synopsis says, “Struggling with the decision of whether or not to bring a child into the world, Annie (Kendrick) and her husband Aaron (Rogen) become instant co-parents when their newly-divorced friend moves into their home with her 3-year-old.”

THE SPECIALIST---tv series underway based on the John Cutter novels. The 1994 movie based on the novels starred Sylvester Stallone.

SCARFACE---Danny Ramirez will star in a modernized version of the movie based on the novel.

TRIVIA---KILLDOZER! was a 1974 ABC Movie of the Week based on a Theodore Sturgeon novella and starred Clint Walker, Carl Betz, Robert Urich and Neville Brand. The plot involves a team of construction workers flown to a deserted African island to build an airstrip for an oil company. The team's bulldozer unearths an ancient meteorite containing an alien energy lifeform which enters the bulldozer. The possessed bulldozer then begins killing the construction workers off one by one.
Over the years, the movie's absurd plot made it a sci fi laughing stock which led to its current status as a cult classic.
