CS I have seen your vehicles & they are fantastic . However if you have wheeled vehicles I think they would be a lot better if the wheels actually turned . Also for your next SS we need firing poses similar to the 1st set you did . Keep up the great work . You have my purchasing support !!

You saying the wheels on the 222 don't turn

Time to get my dremel tool out ,to remove the wheels, drill a hole through for the axles, and remount the wheels. Should turn freely and enhance my play on the floor value:D...Michael

Have ya seen the suspension system that CS has detailed under the 222? Good luck with the dremel.

I'm sort of amused by this discussion. When we were kids and had little toy cars, we, of course, expected the wheels to move. However, these are military miniatures, so to speak, which we're going to locate on a shelf, a display case or a diorama. Why is it necessary for the wheels to move. It's not like we're going to have racing Tigers at 30 paces.

I remember once saying to Ana that the wheels on something or other (not necessarily a HB tank) didn't move and she said why should they? They're not toys.

Brad , speak for yourself !! I have every intention of coordinating my Panzers into the armoured wedge formation & smoking out Ivan on 1 of my 17 tables on display in the basement . Don`t leave out the toy in toy soldier .

Joe,

When a tank starts costing $119 and up, these ain't toys any more.

Hows this for dedication: the factory that we work with just finished prototyping our next wheeled vehicle ( hmm, I wonder what it is?:D). and the wheels, like the 222, did not move when we shipped our prototype to them. So they insisted that they be allowed to make them move, and now they do!

Just a note that there are some really fantastic people, besides us of course, that are making sure the products that you enjoy so very much are the very best for you.

New releases to be announced in 1.5 weeks.

Best regards,

Brian

Hi Brian,

Thats good news that the new releases will be announced in 1.5 weeks....what are they?:D

Look forward to seeing your Arnhem stuff in London

Rob

1 : Brad VERY good point !!

2 : Brian , I hope that you will touch upon items that have never been made by K & C . People can only use so many of the same armored vehicle .

3 : We need more Germans in firing poses .

I don't mind that tanks are static, but occasionally I roll the AK combo motorcycle back and forth a few inches when nobody is looking. ;)

I've now got my Collector showcase 222 armoured car & your right you don't need the wheels to work

 NEXT the SDKFZ-232-8-WHEEL RAD ARMOURED CAR, w/Radio Antennae and Front Grille Guard, and PUMA -( Long Barrel) 8-Wheel Armoured Car! SDKFZ-234/2!;)

I generally do not pal arround with tools or sharp objects, but some members:)inferred that one could not make the armored cars wheels move..At great cost to my life and health...I have done so and my car rolls very nicely, thank you...Rubber wheels would be nice, but I had to make do ,with what Brian gave me...Later today, I will post photos...No, not of my bloodied and torn hands, but of the car and some really simple instructions to do so...Michael
