The miniature figures made by Michael are very interesting. He previously made a turtle formation that was also quite imposing. It's a pity that I'm not into WWII themes, but his figures are indeed very well crafted.

I disagree. The paint scheme is a style reference, not an idea or copyright violation. The postures are mine, and that's where the originality lies

I collected FL long before I started 30. The only reason I’m even in 30 is because of FL. Referencing something you love isn’t copyright infringement — it’s called being a fan and a collector

Legally, copyright protects original expression, not ideas or brand influence. I’ve never copied FL’s protected content — I’m simply a long-time collector who started 30 because of FL. Mentioning the brand that inspired me isn’t plagiarism. Plagiarism would be taking FL’s exact work and calling it my own, which I never did

I'm sorry, but 4 out of the 5 WWII figures you show are First Legion sculpts. So those "postures" are ours, not yours and using them in a commercial context does violate our copyright. If you are really only highlighting the one figure running with the small wall to show it is compatible with First Legion figures (which the other 4 are) than you should state that. And of course we have no issue with that and wish you the best with your endeavors.
