Just curious what you guys think on this idea.

I really like the old set LAH 21 Mussolini in Staff car, however, I got rid of it due to the pose as well as the Nazi drivers.

I for one would love to see a reissue of Mussolini in a car set without the Heil sign and how about some of his bodyguards driving without the swastika?

Just a thought, I am way far from being a PC dude, but I am not partial to displaying the Nazi salute either. I would like to have a Musso in my collection in an auto as there are so many pics of him in various cars.

Sounds good. I have the Paris car with Hitler and the 8th Army car with Churchill so an Italian car with Mussolini would be a good addition

Do you not think the opposite should apply to Mussolini,being leader/ founder of fascism and the italian fascist party,giving the fasciste salute,would be historically associated with Mussolini and it would be right to pose a model figure of the man giving the Fasciste salute,the two are one,i personally like the mounted Mussolini giving the Fasciste K&C have released and the pose looks great to me , ken

Actually, i would like to see more Italians and more Mussolinis' in general... Another Mussolini Idea would be to have him at the very end of the war in the trench coat (with his mistress)- when he was trying to escape to Switzerland.. Some of the Italian Armored cars in tha convoy were cool looking!

I obviously was not clear enough in my post. I am not PC in the least, however I have family who are Jewish and heil signs tend to invoke some feelings. My point was not anything wrong with what has been done, but there are a lot more musso pic with cars ie a alfa race car where he is not saluting.

Additionally, I would be fine with the fascist salute if the driver was an italian bodyguard and the car was a mercedes. My point is there are plenty of cool pics with musso in cars.

Also, I'm in for a Nuremberg tribunal. I mean...Judgment at Nuremberg, great movie. A lot more well known than the Light Horse movie, and more acclaimed than Valkyrie (the bomb plot movie). A perfect end cap to the war.

A bit more one topic...love the cars K&C has been doing lately - an Alfa Romeo would be cool.

Although I can admire the range, effort and craftsmanship in their work I must declare that am not a K&C aficionado for various reasons (financial, aesthetic and even a side order of political - I'm basically a vintage Britains kind of chap, with a slight deviation into their matte Zulu range). The one reason that is pertinent here, as cars are being discussed, and which I'm happy to receive clarification upon, is my almost physical discomfort with the scale of the vehicles, tanks, planes, etc. Is it in fact smaller than the figures?

Apologies if all this is old (or even ancient) hat to more regular K&C folk, but I've always wondered and I thought I'd ask before returning to my general topics of choice.

In the CONCORD Military Books, Axis Powers in N.Africa, shows MUSSOLINI Inspecting his Troops, Wearing a soft (Bustina Tropical hat )and his High Facists Boots! This would be a different Pose from All the previous Pose's done by K&C! CIAO!
