My alamo sculpts...... (1 Viewer)

Just for the record, the plastic markets average age is probably 55.

You know what, that's a good point, I think Barzso could vouch for that statement. Hmmm, something to keep in mind I guess.

From all the shows I've attended I would say that the metal crowd is actually younger then the plastics crowd. Most of the plastic collectors are products of the Marx sets of the 50's and 60's, so we are getting a bit long in the tooth, the number of kids at shows are usually few.

Hello Mr Blake
What is the lastest news on your Alamo sculptures ?
I need some Alamo defenders for my Alamo project.

How much miliput is needed to make one figure ?

Thank you
Denver

Hey Denver, it's actually by chance that I was on here and seen your post, I haven't been on here in months :redface2: Sad to say, I haven't had any new progress to show anyway, Besides working, I've been occupied taking classes to become EMT certified, I'm almost finished so I've had a break with some spare time, so I hope to jump back into sculpting soon. Thanks for checking in on me, but since I haven't gotten to far in, I would be open to your suggestions, any particular poses or anything like that.....

I would like a defender holding off an attacking Conte figure.
Good luck with your cetification.

Thanks Denver, I've got my final national registry test this Friday, woo hoo
Your pose recommendation sounds on track with what I was thinking :wink2:

Hello Blake,
I saw this thread last month and have been meaning to reply, but never had a chance too! I'd like to see some Alamo artillery crews!

Goodluck on your national registry, I remember when I took mine!

Looking forward to seeing more of your work!

Travis

PlasticUnderground actually did three one on one pieces, you can see them here:

http://www.plasticunderground.net/

I have all three, brain salad is my favorite, but there was also the stabbing despite being bayonetted scene, and the side step and chop scene.

These figures are ok, but I do not check EBay often enough to bid on them.

He may sell to you on his site as he is selling unpainted plastic Cavalry and Indians, don't really know.

You guys aren't going to like this, but I can't find this sculpt anywhere {eek3} ^&confuse {eek3}
